Accommodation

You will be accommodated for two nights in Kathmandu and two nights in Pokhara, at three-star bed and breakfasts. Another two nights will be spent in Chitwan National Park at three-star accommodations. The rest of the nights will be spent on the trek, in available lodges or tea houses run by Nepalese families.

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport (KTM), pick-up, and transfer to hotel

Upon your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport (KTM), Trekking Guide Team Adventure’s representative will wait for you with a play card to help you transfer to your hotel in Kathmandu. At the hotel, you can just lighten up.

Day 2: Early morning bus drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara

You will drive to Pokhara from Kathmandu by bus, the ride taking about six hours. On the way, you will pass by terrace villages, farms, as well as cities with eye-catching views of snow-capped peaks. Pokhara holds three attention-grabbing lakes in the region: Phewa, Rupa, and Begnas.

In Pokhara, you can also enjoy sightseeing at well-liked tourist areas like Davi’s Fall, Gupteshore Cave, the renowned Fewa Lake where you can enjoy boating and visit Tal Barahi Temple lying in the heart of the lake or sail to the next shore of the lake and hike to Stupa. Overnight will be at a hotel.

Day 3: Nayapul - Birethanti village - Ulleri village (trek for five hours, 1960 meters)

After breakfast, you will drive to Nayapul from Pokhara and carry on trekking down the hill, following a river to Birethanti set at the altitude of 1,025 meters, on the shore of Modi River. Following the river, you will climb to Syali bazaar and after that you will walk on a steady twisting path along the river. With a short walk up to another new bridge also named Nayapul, you will climb to Ulleri. Overnight will be at a tea house.

Day 4: Hiking to Ghorepani though a rhododendron forest (five hours, 2860 meters)

On this day, you will trek to Ghorepani passing Ulleri village. This is one of the most important days of the entire trek. Ghorepani actually lies at the height of 2860 meters and takes approximately five hours to reach. On the way, you will traverse TirkheDhunga and also go across a river through a bridge hung over Bhurungdi River.

In addition, you will walk by grazing scenery and cultivated regions, through oak, as well as rhododendron woods. You will then arrive at Nangethanti and then finally reach Ghorepani. Overnight will be at a tea house.

Day 5: Hiking up to Poon Hill (3210 meters) - Trek to Tadapani (six hours, 2100 meters)

This day offers the most memorable experience you ever had. You will move early in the morning to Poon Hill which is located at the height of 3,210 meters.

Reaching the top of Poon Hill, you will be welcomed by the picturesque sunrise views over eye-catching peaks like Machhapuchhre, Dhaulagiri, Annapurna, and several more peaks. After that, you will walk to Tadapani, taking just around six hours. Overnight will be at a tea house.

Day 6: Trek to Tadapani and Ghandruk (four hours, 1920 meters)

From Tadapani, you will trek to Ghandruk that lies at the height of 1,900 meters and seems like the community is unaffected by modernity. On the way, you can observe striking sub-tropical valleys, thick rhododendron woods, and frozen waterfalls. Here, you can also see villagers who, apart from agricultural activities, spend their time knitting baskets, clothes, and handling their resources.

You can also see the enormous Himalayan views of Dhaulagiri (8,167 meters), Tukuche (6,920 meters), Hiunchuli (6,441 meters), Nilgiri ( 6,940 meters), Annapurna South (7,219 meters), Machhapuchhre (6,993 meters), Annapurna I (8,091 meters), Lamjung Himal (6,931 meters), and many other peaks. Overnight will be at a tea house.

Day 7: Trek to Ghandruk - Nayapul (four hours) and drive to Pokhara

Trekking for around six hours, you will walk downhill to reach Nayapul. You will also pass the grazing lands on the way through Modi River valley. You will wander downhill with green cultivated farms to Modi River. Then, you will go back to Nayapul. Next, you will drive back to Pokhara. Overnight will be at a hotel.

Day 8: Pokhara to Chitwan (160 kilometers, four hours) - Transfer to Chitwan

You will drive to Chitwan, taking around four hours. On this day, you will visit the Park Visitor’s Center where you can see the record of plants and animals in Chitwan National Park. You can also see sunset views relaxing on the bank of Rapti River. In addition, you will also witness a Tharu cultural dance performed by the local villagers.

Day 9: Chitwan jungle safari activities

This is the second day in Chitwan National Park and you will experience a jungle safari. The park holds 500 Asian one-horned rhinoceros, royal Bengal tigers, elephants, pythons, crocodiles, deer, and more. You will also see an elephant bath.

Or, you can go for a canoe ride and have a jungle walk. Here, one can also get pleasure from bird watching on the river's beach and see over 250 kinds of birds in the park. Overnight will be at a hotel.

Day 10: Chitwan to Kathmandu (146 kilometers, five hours)

On this day, from Chitwan, with striking memories of viewing different types of plants, animals, and birds, you will return to Kathmandu. It takes around five hours to reach Kathmandu. Overnight will be in Kathmandu.

Day 11: Final transfer to airport, departure

Today is the last day in Nepal. The staff will drive you to the airport and bid you farewell.

Chitwan Jungle Safari and Ghorepani tour begin as you are driven to Nayapul from Pokhara. You will also climb to Syali bazaar and with a steady twisting path next to the river Modi. You will reach Nayapul, then walk to Ghorepani going across TirkheDhunga.

You will pass by grazing scenery and move through oak as well as rhododendron woods.
