All the rooms are well-furnished with elegant decor and wooden furniture and equipped with an electronic card door lock system to maximize security, making it one of the safest and best places to stay in Arusha.
All superior rooms have en-suite bathrooms with a combined shower and bath, plus a basin and toilet. The public campsites which are collectively called Seronera Campsite are located in the Central Serengeti area known as the Seronera. Seronera Campsite is one of the most famed campsites in Tanzania for animal encounters. Animals will pass through the campsite at night on their nocturnal wanderings. This campsite is guarded. Tents have mats and bathrooms are outside of the tent. The Sleeping bags and mattresses are provided.
Simba Campsite lies on the very rim of Ngorongoro Crater and has an excellent view across the caldera. A fantastic sunrise over the crater rim opposite makes a fine breakfast scene. Often there are elephants wandering around the camp! This campsite is guarded. Tents have mats and bathrooms are outside of the tent. Facilities at Simba Campsite are basic but this is more than made up for by the atmosphere of this camp in the clouds. Sleeping bags and mattresses are provided.
Travel Africa Safari Agency's guide will pick you up at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport (ARK) and take you to their office in Arusha. As local Tanzanians, their guides know well the country and Arusha city, so you’ll be in good hands from when you arrive to the moment you leave.
After breakfast, you will be picked up from the hotel by the driver/guide and drive to Tarangire National Park. Tarangire is well known for its large elephant herds. From the open roof of the vehicle, you will experience the seasonal swamps, savanna, and Tarangire River in search of many animals including zebra, wildebeest, buffalo, elephant, and giraffe. It's possible that you will catch a glimpse of a lion stalking its prey or leopards watching and relaxing in the trees above. After a full day in the park, you will drive to sun bright lodge and campsite, where you will be able to relax and enjoy dinner and have an overnight.
After breakfast, drive up the crater highlands, stopping at the rim for a spectacular view of the Ngorongoro Crater. Continuing as far as the eye can see is the vast Serengeti. Serengeti means "endless plain" and this 6900 square miles (18000 square kilometers) park is inhabited by more than two million wildebeest. From January to April is the season when wildebeest give birth to their calves and also hundreds of thousands of plains zebras and Thomson's gazelles. Large predators including lions, cheetahs, and hyenas are drawn to the area by this abundance of prey which migrates throughout the park. Many smaller animals like rock hyrax, bat-eared foxes, mongoose, honey badgers, jackals, monkeys, baboons, and African hares also inhabit the area along with nearly 500 species of birds. After the game drive, you will return back to Seronera campsite/rest house.
Today, you will wake up very early in the morning for a sunrise game drive in Serengeti National Park. Later at noon, you will return back to the campsite/rest house for a brunch/lunch and then you will continue with the afternoon game drive. Later in the late afternoon, you will drive to Simba campsite in Ngorongoro for an overnight stay.
Today, you will wake up very early to do an early morning safari before breakfast to spot the animals when they are more active and also to have a fantastic sunrise in front of you. The sunrise in the African Savannah is one of the most beautiful experiences one can have. You will then travel to Ngorongoro Crater, inhabited by almost every species of wildlife indigenous to East Africa including the rare black rhino. In fact, the crater has the greatest concentration of wildlife on the planet.
It contains a river, several swamps, and a soda lake that, from the top, looks like steam, full of flamingos, a forest, and open plains. The large bull elephants that reside here have extremely large tusks, due to the rich mineral content of the volcanic soil and its grasses.
After a full-day game drive( 5 hours/ 6 hours), you can expect to be back in Arusha around 6:00 p.m. for an OverNight. Likewise, you will be transferred to curio shops where you can grab some souvenirs to take back home with you.
