“Wilson” (aka Mohamed Haroun, Mohamed Haruna) is an amazing guide. He takes his job seriously, has great knowledge and bionic eyes to see what is even hard to recognize using powerful binoculars. You will not be disappointed with him as your guide. Five stars.
Wilson also knew many people personally throughout each game drive, in the town of Arusha etc..well liked and respected.
Camping experience on Serengeti and the Crater - do not pass them up, take as many as you can fit in. Waking up to zebras wandering around - amazing. Having a giraffe’s head pop over the tree line of camp - amazing.
Found it wonderful how each tour operator worked together. No competition during game drives.

- Die Guides sind mega (Danke an Mayunga, Maiko und Simba)
- Zelten in der Serengeti war unser Highlight, nachts kamen die Hyänen und sind um die Zelte geschlichen
- Das Essen und das ganze Orga Team waren fantastisch
Wir haben mit 15 Leuten gebucht, alles hat top funktioniert. Von der Abholung am Flughafen, über die ganze Safari hinweg haben wir uns sehr sicher und professionell betreut gefühlt. Auch besondere Wünsche und Anliegen konnten stets erfüllt werden. Wir haben bis auf das Spitzmaulnashorn alles gesehen, was wir gerne sehen wollten. Zebras, Gnus und Giraffen sind schnell zum Standard geworden. Aber das wir Elefanten und Löwen so nahe kommen, dass wir Sie hätten anfassen können war schon beindruckend. Wir haben sogar Leoparden und Geparden sehen können. Die Guides haben sich soviel Mühe gegeben uns ein tolles Erlebnis zu bescheren. Wir sind sehr dankbar. Ich kann die Safari nur jedem empfehlen. Der absolute Hammer.

"Look No Further -- This Safari Company Delivers!"
I cannot emphasize this enough: every team member here was outstanding, warm, and professional, from Macha, our amazing, intrepid, brilliant guide and driver (can't say enough good things!), to Agaz the chef (delicious home cooked meals, 3x a day), Jacqueline and Mohamed Haroun at the office who responded swiftly to every email and inquiry, solicitously and courteously following up from beginning to end; to Godfrey and Chief who drove me around Arusha and took me to and from the airport, always punctual, always good company. This, my first safari, could not have been better and I actually preferred sharing our jeep with our five other really nice tourists to the lonelier-looking private safari jeeps I saw in the parks. The hotel booked for me in town was also lovely and comfortable, and I was in capable hands at every juncture. All I did to find this treasure was search "discount safaris in Tanzania," took a chance, and was rewarded beyond my expectations. This is an outstanding company, and I would recommend these people to anyone looking for a comprehensive safari adventure that does not cost an arm and a leg. Bravo!

"A really wonderful week!"
This trip was wonderful - as a planner, it was a little hard to give the reins over to someone else to make all the decisions, but they did a great job. I had multiple guides - day 1 was Omar and day 2-5 was Godson, then Joel took over for my Materuni Waterfalls & Chemka Hot Springs excursion.
All the guides were excellent - knowledgeable, happy to answer questions, and they had very impressive driving skills on the washed out roads created by the rainy season. I was really impressed by the guides' ability to flex with the demands of the weather and the availability of animals, as well as their ability to deal with lots of different personalities in terms of the tourists.
A note: there are lots of possible side excursions, but they are pretty much all based in Arusha. So I took a combo trip for 3 things on my final day before they dropped me off at the airport, and it was GREAT! They timed it perfectly to make sure that I got to the airport precisely when I needed to, and got to see lots on the way there. It was a private excursion, though - because they need to tailor the drop off time based on your flight.
Overall, I saw lots of wonderful animals, and met some great people - people who worked for Travel Africa and people who were on the trip. An awesome adventure!

"Einmaliges Erlebnis"
Die Safari mit unserem Guide Asman Simba war ein erstklassiges Erlebnis. Die Organisation war sehr gut und wir es wurde jeden Tag für frische Mahlzeiten gesorgt. Das Senator Hotel und die Lodge waren insgesamt sehr gut, die Zeltplätze waren auch insgesamt sauber und das Personal sehr freundlich. Insbesondere mit unserem Guide hatten wir viel Spaß. Er wusste sehr viel, hat viel erklärt und ein gutes Auge für die Tiere gehabt. Die Stimmung war dadurch die ganze Tour über sehr gut. Am ersten Tag haben wir noch einen Abstecher zu den Massai gemacht, was ein sehr besonderes Erlebnis war. Zuletzt war auch das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis der Tour überragend. Für 800 Euro 6 Tage Safari ist vergleichsweise sehr günstig. Wir würden es sofort wieder machen.

"Fantastic, affordable once in a lifetime experience "
I booked this quite fast and was a little worried being a solo female traveller. The group of other solo travelers were fantastic, the guide Simon answered every question we had. Saw so many animals, almost had the big five but no rhino, considering nobody can guarantee you'll see everything we saw so much for just four days. I can be quite a fussy eater, don't do spicy, but the chef Richard cooked beautiful meals. The camps were quite good, the zebras were all over Ngorongoro at night! The facilities while out on the road were great, very different from what I'm used to but I found them to be clean and accessible. The hotel was lovely as well, and the lodge. Good access to WiFi and the hotel, lodge and serengeti picnic area but not at the camps as expected to be fair. I would definitely recommend this company if you're looking to do a safari, I couldn't really afford a holiday like this but I'm not sure I'll be physically able to in a year or so, this company offering such an amazing experience at such a decent price has really made a dream come true.
Stop being scared, live your life and book a safari with this company!

"The best experience ever!"
I had the best time ever! I was lucky that I ended up in a group with people my age and sense of humor. Our guide, Omary made this experience unforgettable. He was so professional and had knowledge about everything you asked him. He wasn't just friendly and caring, he his also alot of fun! We laughed so much during these 5 days with Omary that in the end it didnt feel like he was just our guide, he was apart of the group. He always made sure that we got the best spots and that we got the most out of the safari. Our chef, Osman, was also incredible! So young but such a good chef. He even made a cake for the honeymooners that we had I our group. I'm so happy that I booked my safari through Travel Africa Safari Agency and especially that we got Omary as our guide. At the end of the week, when we all had to say our goodbyes, It felt like we have known each other for longer than 5 days.
So to rap it up, I will always remember this experience and not only because of all the animals that we saw but all the laughs that we had. If I could do it all over again, I would, everyday of the week. But only if I Omary was my guide and Osman the chef.

"Awesome experience! "
Our guide Hassan was the best of the best! He always had the best location and he always got us closest to the animals. Everybody was jealous at us. Like he was the animal whisperer and he knew where the animals would show up and which direction they would go. It was unbelieveable how close we got to the animals thanks to him!!! His knowledge is endless! He really was the best. Hamis, our chef was also amazing, his food was sooooo delish! We loved him too.

Hicimos 4 noches de Safari y nuestro guía Juma fue el mejor de todos! Mucha paciencia para contestar todos los pedidos del grupo y se nota que él tenía mucha experiencia por todo lo que sabía de los parques y los animales. 100% recomendable!!
La comida excelente también. Nuestro chef intentó hacer comida variada y muy rica.

"Great safari with amazing guide "
Safari tour was very well organised and Mohamed answered all my questions instantly. I had 7 days tour but I think 3-4 days are totally enough as you become tired of driving every day (Serengeti and ngorongoro are my favourite in terms of spotting animals). The guide/driver Freddy was simply amazing, very knowledgeable and social and he made sure we saw the Big 5. Freddy was also very friendly and took an extra care after me as I was a solo female traveller so I felt safe everywhere. I would recommend this tour to everyone who travels on budget and want to have a little adventure.

"Besser als erwartet "
Die Game Drives in den Nationalparks waren fantastisch, was auch an Aaron, unserem Guide lag, der ein gutes Auge hat und alles genau erklären konnte. Auch die Verpflegung war richtig gut, wenn man bedenkt, dass man in the middle of nowhere ist. Die Übernachtungen im Zelt waren besser als erwartet, auch hier waren alle sehr bemüht, es uns so angenehm wie möglich zu machen. Neben einer Zebraherde zu schlafen war ein einmaliges Erlebnis.

"The best way to visit Ngorongoro and Serengeti"
We,as couple, booked with Travel Africa Safari instead of our planned self-drive to the Serengeti and Ngorongoro. This decision turned out to be very wise. We travelled in a group of 6 with a very experienced guide Simon. Simon is one of the best guides we have had during our many trips to southern Africa over the last 5 years. He is a very good driver on the narrow, bumpy, dusty, endless gravel roads that lead to Serengeti. He knows the parks very and is very efficient to get us trough the entries and exits, so that we did not loose time. His surprised us with his deep knowledge of wildlife and spotting skills that ensured we could see the big 5 in just a couple of days. And most of all, thanks to his empathy and positive attitude, he created a group feeling among the group solving ensuring all of the participants' personal aspiration could be met. A very good experience that i would recommend, and especially to anyone who would be hesitating between self-drive and an organized trip.

"Amazing safari experience"
We had an amazing time on safari - especially in Serengeti and in the Ngorongoro crater. Our guide Joseph was very kind, good at spotting and knew a lot about the animals.
Sleeping in a tent in Serengeti and Ngorongoro was a great memorable experience. Everything was taken care of from beginning to the end of the tour and Mohamed was very helpful and easy to communicate with at all times. All in all a great experience.

"Eine großartige Safari – unvergessliche Erlebnisse"
Unser Guide Joseph war nicht nur extrem freundlich und zuvorkommend, sondern spürte auch die besten und interessantesten Tierszenen auf. Wir sagen so viele verschiedene Tiere, die meisten hautnah, fast zum greifen nah, Jede Menge Tierbabys und auch die Big Five! Im Tarangire Nationalpark da hatten wir sogar das große Glück zu erleben, wie zwei Löwen ein Gnu rissen. Wir sahen sogar Löwen Babys und Leoparden ganz nah. Und nicht nur die Mannigfaltigkeit der Tierwelt war unendlich beeindruckend, sondern auch die Landschaft in ihre Verschiedenartigkeit, und die Sonnenaufgänge und Sonnenuntergänge, die wir erleben durften. Insgesamt ein absolut unvergessliches Erlebnis.
Ein riesiges Dankeschön an unser gesamtes Team, das uns so wunderbar begleitet, geführt und versorgt hat!

Perfekt durchgeplant. Der Guide Freddy war super. Er hat wirklich das Beste aus unserer Reise gemacht. Jung, freundlich, witzig und er wusste über alles gut Bescheid. Einfach perfekt. Er hat sich beste Mühe gegeben uns ein unglaubliches Erlebnis zu verschaffen und hat das auch geschafft. Das Essen von Dullah war der Wahnsinn. Unglaublich was er mit den wenigen Mitteln gekocht hat. Extrem lecker, vielseitig und mehr als genug. Wir waren von beiden begeistert. Es war viel besser als wir es und vorgestellt haben und sind traurig, dass es schon vorbei ist. Wir würden es jederzeit wieder machen und es jedem empfehlen!

"Good deal"
Amazing landscapes and reserves, nice guide, a 6 days program is what you need to see several reserves and make sure to see a lot of animals. Best place is definitely Ngorogoro crater YOU NEED TO SEE. The safari agency is trying to always make the client happy despite the climate difficulties in March(a lot of rain makes the roads complicated in the parks) and has been extremely helpful when I lost a bag. Thanks a lot for everything !

"Excellent Budget Safari!"
This Safari was well-organized to provide access to some of the most outstanding wildlife in southeast Africa! Communications were first-rate; any questions were answered within a couple of hours via email and WhatsApp. The company was very flexible in scheduling my arrival and departure transfers to Kilimanjaro International Airport, which was very helpful. The company uses first-rate Safari vehicles and our guide/driver was very good. Camping gear was good. The meals were tasty and healthful. I thought this Safari was an excellent value, and I highly recommend!

"Big Five - very friendly but no frills"
Mohamed was my perfect guide in Arusha, in the beginning and end of my tour Arusha-Serengeti-Ngorongoro-Arusha. We were six safari goers from different countries who came together, arranged via different local tour companies, I liked both the chef and the driver on our tour, they were very good, and Serengeti and Ngorongoro was just spectacular. I got to see amazing views and so many animals, not "just" the Big Five, and I made such good friends. The tents were no frills but it felt surprisingly comfortable to camp. It was unforgettable and very good value for money!

We had an exceptional experience and got to discover and enjoy the parks at its full. The driver and chef were very helpful and look after us the entire time to make our stay better. We did the budget tour so of course, we didn't have any luxury while staying there, but having all sort of animals coming right next tp your tent is priceless. I defenitely recommend them anytime.

Safe drive even if the traffic was a bit crazy from time to time. Our guide was Yunus and he was very informative and seemed to have done this for a long time. We saw more animals than we could have expected and were very close to many of them! Some of the highlights were: the lions in trees, eating and a pack resting with their cubs. Also a giraffe eating within two meters starring at us. The monkeys swinging in trees. Elephants walking beside us. A hugh python laying in the sun. It was amazing really.

"My best holiday ever!!! Number 1 safari trip! "
The whole trip from start to end was superb. Excellent communication with Mohamed Haroun from the moment I enquires till we Logitech to the airport. The views were magnificent and the animals were amazing. Our driver Lucas bless him done such a great job driving all day and night, he made sure we were happy and that we got to see the big 5 and so much more. Very organised and made the trip very memorable. Met some wonderful people, the chef made some delicious soup! Got to see and do everything working the 6 days. Waterfall National Parks Market Gallery everything was great and it was definitely an adventure. I have recommended this trip to all my family and friends as it great value for money. Camping can be tough so bring an extra pillow and your own sleeping bag for extra comfort. There will be bugs and animals walking past but that is all part of the adventure. Bring a torch and binoculars. And lots of memory on your phone for your amazing snaps. All the people we met were so humble and kind. Take shillings and dollars with you. The views we saw at Ngorogoro Crate were mesmerising have me goosebumps at the first glimpse. The animals were huge and in large numbers which felt like you was in a movie. Despite flooding of the rain at night which made it difficult for our driver to pass through at times he done an amazing job. Our chef Mehak done great too! You will be taken back the animals and views on this trip!

"Really awesome experience i have never ever had"
I like everything the agency arranged, with very clean and good hotel in Arusha, Mohamed is really kind warm-hearted friend, my first time in Africa, he makes me not feel far away from my country, and helped me arrange such a perfect safari program, i have never seen such many wildlife, and feel more closer to the nature, it's really safe there, with 3 nights private tent, really unforgetable experience, the driver is funny and professional, my group has 6 people, we all enjoyed it.
