Experience this amazing 7-day safari where you will go around the best spots in Kenya. You will have an early morning game drive at Maasai Mara National Reserve, look for the amazing bird species at Lake Nakuru National Park, have a nature walk at Lake Naivasha, and embark on an evening game drive at Amboseli National Park. Surely, this safari trip will give you a nostalgic experience!
You will be accommodated for 4 nights in the camp located in Maasai Mara National Reserve and Amboseli National Park. Also, you will be accommodated in 2 budget hotels for 2 nights. One of the camps is located on the periphery of the great Maasai Mara National Reserve where one is able to experience a satisfactory viewing of the Big Five.
At 08:00, you will be picked up from the hotel. You will be transferred to depart for Maasai Mara National Reserve via the viewpoint of the Great Rift Valley and Narok town, where you will have lunch. Upon arrival, you will proceed for a game drive, tracking various animal species and birds with your driver / guide. Today, you will have dinner and stay overnight at the camp.
After breakfast, you will proceed on a full day game viewing within the reserve. The landscape is scenic savannah grassland on rolling hills. Maasai Mara National Reserve is the best park for game viewing in Kenya as it has an extensive road and track network which allows for close range viewing and photography. After the game viewing, you can have a break for your picnic lunch at the hippo pool, looking out for hippos and crocodiles. The dinner will be served and you will stay overnight at the camp.
Today, you will go for an early morning pre-breakfast game drive. Then, after breakfast, you will depart the Mara Region for Nakuru, where you will have lunch en route with scenic views of Mount Longonot and Lake Naivasha from the main highway. The dinner and overnight stay will be at a budget hotel.
After breakfast, you will proceed on a game drive at Lake Nakuru National Park, which is known for its prolific birdlife, including flamingoes. The park contains a sanctuary for the conservation of the white rhino while species like Cape buffalos and waterbucks can be seen near the shoreline. After the game drive, you will proceed to Naivasha. The dinner and overnight stay will be at a budget hotel.
After breakfast, you will have a nature walk at Hell’s Gate National Park. Then, you will have lunch and drive to Amboseli National Park. If time permits, there will be a chance for an evening game drive. In the evening, you will have dinner and stay overnight at the camp.
You will have a full day of game drives in this park which contains swampy grounds in which elephants and hippos bathe in abundance. A variety of plains game, antelopes, birds, and the peak of Mount Kilimanjaro can also be seen if the weather conditions permit. You will go on a picnic lunch and then return for an overnight stay at the camp.
You will go on an early morning game drive from 06:00 to 09:00. Then, you will go back to the camp for a full breakfast. Afterward, you will check out and leave Amboseli either to Emali to connect with a bus to Mombasa or to Namanga border to cross to Tanzania. Alternatively, you will be brought back to Nairobi to be dropped off at the airport or Nairobi hotel.
Your safari holiday will take place in several locations in Kenya, including Maasai Mara National Reserve, Lake Nakuru National Park, Lake Naivasha, Hell’s Gate National Park, and Amboseli National Park.
It’s only in Africa where you can get a national park in the city, which is Nairobi National Park. Here you will be able to view four of the big five in this unique sanctuary that is only a few kilometers from Nairobi’s bustling city centre.
The tour starts at 07:00 to view the wildlife and then from there the tour proceeds to Sheldrick Farm (baby elephants). Thereafter, you will go on a tour to the Giraffe Centre then culminate with the numerous homesteads reflecting Kenya’s cocktail of cultures being faithfully recreated for visitors to see the traditional village life. The greatest excitement during the afternoon is a visit to the display of the traditional dance, music and folklore songs performed in splendid arena.
Tour returns to the City Centre by sundown. Private tour can be organized in the morning for groups.
The tours starts at 09:00 covering the City Centre, here you will able to climb the highest building in Nairobi (K.I.C.C) Kenyatta International Convention Centre which allows one to have a clear view of the entire city and its environs. From there tour the National Archives, National Museum where there are spell bindings displays of the early man, tribal regalia and the fauna of Kenya then a visit to the adjacent Snake Park.
