The tastefully decorated Balinese style villas have an open-air design and large covered balconies. TikiVillas Rainforest Lodge was designed in collaboration with a leading Costa Rican architect to minimize environmental impact and to seamlessly integrate the lodge’s presence with the pristine rainforest. The open-air floor plans and extensive use of natural materials allow the guests to feel part of the nature contained within the private rainforest reserve.
TikiVillas Rainforest Lodge is the result of the love for the Costa Rican rainforest. The objective was to build a small boutique eco-lodge committed to the environment and the local community. The aspiration is to provide the highest standards of service and amenities to the guests.
The fusion of Bali modern architectural design with authentic Costa Rican style created an exclusive escape from the modern world.
You can enter the spring water-fed infinity-edge pool after a day of sightseeing and adventure. Here, You can enjoy a refreshing tropical drink or cocktail while viewing stunning views of the rainforest and the Pacific Ocean.
Built by hand over three years, without the use of heavy machinery, TikiVillas Rainforest Lodge protected the natural topography by elevating the villas on columns, which also enhances the views. All the furniture, doors, et cetera were built by local artisans out of wood that had been recycled or came from sustainable farms. Particular care was taken with drainage and lighting.
You will hike lush rainforests, howl with howler monkeys, relax with a sloth, sing with birds, and investigate millions of insects during your tour of Corcovado National Park in the Osa Peninsula! Corcovado National Park is famous for holding three percent of the biodiversity on this side of the planet.
For day two, you will enjoy birdwatching which includes transportation.
For day three, you will have spa relax day.
Experience Marina life from the water with a boating tour. The Marina Ballena National Park is one of the largest underwater parks in the world. It hosts a variety of whales during their migration. Most of the year, many breeds can be spotted here including humpback, Bryde's, false orcas, and whale sharks. The famous Whales Tail sandbar, Ballena Island, and the Three Sisters (Tres Hermanas) islands are incredible spots to view them. There are several types of dolphins and sea turtles, especially the olive ridley migrating through this area. Snorkeling equipment is provided to view the underwater reefs. You will see plenty of sea caves that you may want to visit later.
This wildlife tour will take place in Costa Rica. TikiVillas Rainforest Lodge is located in Uvita on the southern Pacific Coast of Costa Rica, which has been described as “the most biologically intense place on earth” (National Geographic). It is the ideal location from where to explore an amazing and unique tropical paradise. There are two nature reserve parks close by, Baru Reserve and Marino Ballena National Park as well as a further three - Manuel Antonio National Park, Corcovado National Park, and Caño Island Bioñogical Reserve only an hour and a half away.

They truly hope you enjoy their take on dishes from Costa Rica and Latin America as well as a few classic options from Europe and Asia. These dishes are inspired and prepared by the celebrated Costa Rican chef and complimented with a fine selection of premium beverages.
Enjoy local, simple, tasty, and freshly prepared meals at the Restaurant! Entering a world of magic in the candlelit atmosphere in Las Velas Restaurant, you can experience some of Costa Rica’s finest dishes in an elegant, open-air location. From your table you can observe the colors of the sky change as the sun sets over the Pacific Ocean while you choose your gourmet meal. The florid scents of the jungle breeze will increase your appetite as you listen to the nesting scarlet macaws and the sounds of the nearby howler monkeys.

This is the number one favorite among the guests! The Nauyaca Waterfalls are one of the main attractions in the South Pacific of Costa Rica and definitively one of the most popular with visitors to the area. The property is owned by a local Costa Rican family, who have been doing horseback riding tours to these two beautiful waterfalls for many years.
Caño Island is one of Costa Rica’s premier snorkeling and diving spots. The island is surrounded by five marine platforms or low coral reefs where 15 species of stony corals have been identified. The adventure begins with a short 90-minute boat ride across the clear waters of the Pacific Ocean to Caño Island.
The boat departs from Punta Uvita to the Ballena Island and rocky reef where you will snorkel for about two hours. You will be taken to the best two sites to snorkel, first to Uvita Point (the rocky reef). This is a small island with the biggest rocky reef in the Ballena National Park and then afterward to the small rock island of Ballena.
Explore some of the mother's natures most interesting flora and fauna and immerse yourself in the intricate Terraba Sierpe mangroves ecosystem. The Terraba Sierpe mangrove is one of Costa Rica’s largest mangrove forest and plays an important role in the protection of the Osa Peninsula. Nature lovers and bird watchers are prepared!
Canyoning, also known as canyoneering in North America, is a vertical sport that involves descending a series of waterfalls using techniques like rappelling, jumping, sliding, and boulder scrambling. The canyon involves mostly rappelling.

Various shuttle bus companies offer point to point transfer to Uvita. Buses run from San Jose bus station to Uvita. These pass in front of TikiVillas Rainforest Lodge. Buses also go from San Jose to San Isidro de General and Quepos. In San Isidro or Quepos, you will need to connect to another bus that runs to Dominical or Uvita. Timetable available at reception.
