Kathmandu: Park Village/Hotel Sambhala or similar

Program

Day 1: Kathmandu (1,400 meters)

Arrival in Kathmandu (1,400 meters / 4,592 feet) and transfer to your Kathmandu hotel. The rest of the day is free for leisure. You will stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 2: Kathmandu to Trisuli River (3 hours)

Depart from Kathmandu to Riverside Spring Resort, lunch, and rafting for a maximum of three hours. Then beach volleyball and beach party in the afternoon and bonfire with a barbecue dinner in the evening. Then overnight stay at the resort.

Day 3: Trisuli to Chitwan National Park (1.5 hours)

After breakfast, head towards Chitwan and lunch at the hotel/cultural welcome program of the Tharu community, and jeep safari tour. After the safari tour, launch and then canoe ride, sightseeing of elephant/crocodile breeding center, evening village walk, Tharu cultural dance, and then overnight stay at hotel.

Day 4: Chitwan to Birdiya National Park (Distance: 290 kilometers | Around 8 hours)

Drive from Chitwan to Bardiya and overnight stay at Bardiya hotel.

Day 5: Full-day safari and jungle activity

Full-day jungle safari (very famous for Royal Bengal Tiger which is listed in UNESCO’s endangered animal list). And overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 6: Sightseeing tour of Bauddhanath/Pashupatinath temple

Transfer back to Nepalgunj Airport (KEP) and flight back to Kathmandu. Sightseeing tour of Bauddhanath/ Pashupatinath temple and overnight stay at Kathmandu hotel.

Day 7: Departure

Departure from Kathmandu Airport (KTM).

Location

Kathmandu

Kathmandu is the capital and largest urban agglomerate of Nepal. The city stands at an elevation of approximately 1,400 meters (4,600 feet) in the bowl-shaped Kathmandu Valley of central Nepal. It is surrounded by four major mountains: Shivapuri, Phulchoki, Nagarjun, and Chandragiri. Kathmandu Valley is part of three districts (Kathmandu, Lalitpur, and Bhaktapur).

Chitwan National Park

Chitwan National Park is the first national park in Nepal. It was established in 1973 and granted the status of a World Heritage Site in 1984. It covers an area of 932 square kilometers (360 square miles) and is located in the subtropical Inner Terai lowlands of south-central Nepal in the Chitwan District.

In altitude, it ranges from about 100 meters (330 feet) in the river valleys to 815 meters (2,674 feet) in the Churia Hills. In the north and west of the protected area, the Narayani-Rapti river system forms a natural boundary to human settlements.
