Thanda Safari is a private game reserve situated in the renowned wildlife region of northern KwaZulu-Natal, some 260 kilometers north of Durban.
KwaZulu-Natal (KZN) is one of South Africa's most popular holiday destinations, with magnificent scenery and a warm climate. The area is known worldwide as an incredibly diverse, exciting region to visit.
The province offers three geographical areas: the Lowland Region along the Indian Ocean, the Central Region (Natal Midlands) and two legendary mountainous areas: the Drakensberg Mountains to the west, and the Lebombo Mountains to the north.
During this safari, you will be provided with daily breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Selected local beverages (soft drinks, house wines, local spirits, and beers) will also be provided.

Arrival by airplane
Please book your flight to arrive at King Shaka International Airport (DUR). Thanda Safari Private Game Reserve can pick you up from this airport. You can also book your flight to O. R. Tambo International Airport (JNB) and fly directly to the Phinda Airstrip via Fly Airlink where they are met by a Thanda representative for the short drive to Thanda Safari.
A reservation requires a deposit of 20% of the total price.
The deposit is non-refundable, if the booking is cancelled.
The rest of the payment should be paid 30 days before arrival.
