Tents are made up of two single beds and are equipped with a fan to cool you down in summer and electric blankets to warm you up in winter.

The communal bathrooms, a short walk from the campsite, and safari tents are serviced daily. Location

Only two and a half to three hours from Johannesburg, in the North West Province, lies the Pilanesberg Game Reserve. As a transitional zone between the arid dryness of the Kalahari and the wet Lowveld vegetation, the Pilanesberg encompasses grassy plains, rocky outcrops, wooded valleys and some breath-taking dams.

It’s unique placement - in a volcanic crater created over 12 million years ago from overflowing magma, and as a transitional zone - means that it is home to virtually all of the animal species native to Southern Africa, including the Big Five (elephant, lion, leopard, rhinoceros and buffalo), wild dog, tsessebe, and more than 360 species of birds.

Because of its relatively small size and because of its ecological richness, guests have an increased chance of experiencing the Big Five in their natural habitat.
