One of the most sought-after experiences for wildlife and nature enthusiasts, the Great Migration is the ever-moving circular migration of over a million animals across the Serengeti-Mara ecosystem. The constant movement of columns of wildebeest, joined by a host of companions, follow an age-old route in search of grazing and water.
Lenchada Tourist Camp is a budget semi-luxury accommodation and eco-friendly safari tented camp in the north-west of the Masai Mara. Located on the Oloolaimutia hills on the Western border of this world-famous reserve, it offers the perfect starting point for your safari.

Wildebeest and their many buddies travel in endless columns down a prehistoric path in search of pasture and water.
You'll be picked up from the airport or your hotel and be transferred to Tegu tours and safaris' office to meet the group members and a morning briefing. Then, depart from Nairobi to the Masai Mara Game Reserve. You will travel via the viewpoint of the Great Rift Valley, with a stopover for about 20 minutes to take beautiful pictures of the escarpment.
Later, proceed to the Maasai Mara, arriving in time for lunch and check in to the lodge or camp to refresh. Go on an evening game drive until 18:00, tracking various animal species and birds with your driver / guide. You will have a great time to view the African sunset in rolling plains of the Mara. After the game drive, you'll go back to the lodge or camp for dinner and overnight.
After breakfast at 05:30, proceed on a full day of game viewing within the reserve, starting at 06:00, so that you will be able to view the sunrise in the savannah and rolling plains.
The landscape there is scenic, with the savannah grassland on rolling hills. The reserve is the best park for game drives in Kenya as it has an extensive road and track network, which allows for close-range viewing and photography. Break for your picnic lunch at the hippo pool, looking out for these animals and crocodiles.
This will also be the day when you can go to the Maasai village, whereby you will interact with Maasai people and learn more about their culture. Continue with the game drive until 17:00, then it will be time for a visit to the Maasai village, which is optional, then you will go on a walking safari.
After a full day spent at the reserve, you will go back for dinner and overnight at the lodge or camp.
After breakfast, depart the Mara region for Nakuru and have lunch en route, with scenic views of Mt. Longmont, Lake Naivasha, and Lake Elementaita from afar on the main highway. On the way to Lake Nakuru, you will be to do sightseeing at Mt. Longonot and Lake Naivasha. You will arrive in Nakuru town in the evening. Dinner and overnight will be at a budget hotel.
After an early breakfast, you will proceed on a game drive in Lake Nakuru Park, known for its prolific birdlife, including flamingos. The park contains a sanctuary for the conservation of the white rhino while species like cape buffalo and waterbuck can be seen near the shoreline.
You will have the option to take a boat ride in this freshwater lake to go and see hippos and fish eagles at an extra cost.
After the game drive, Enjoy a hot lunch and proceed to Lake Naivasha, arriving in the evening for optional activities. Dinner and overnight will be at a budget hotel.
After breakfast, have a nature walk in the Hell’s Gate National Park. You may hire bicycles to cycle in this park only. There are over 100 species of birds in the park, including vultures, Verreaux's Eagles, Augur Buzzard, and Swifts. African buffalo, zebra, eland, hartebeest, Thomson's Gazelle, and baboons are also common.
The park is also home to the Klipspringer Antelope and Chandler's Mountain Reedbuck. Enjoy hot or picnic lunches and later, drive back to Nairobi, arriving in the afternoon. You will be dropped back at the airport or a Nairobi hotel.
This safari will be in Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha, and the Masai Mara. Maasai Mara is well known for being the largest park in Kenya, with a high concentration of wildlife. This is the only park which is in the records of the Book of Seven Wonders because of the wildebeest migration, which takes place annually, starting in early July until late October.
They migrate from the Maasai Mara to Serengeti National Park on the Tanzania side. In Kenya, this is also the only park where you can view the Big Five's lion, elephant, rhino, and leopard. In the morning, it is a good time for the cats killing cheetahs, lions, leopards, and other cats. Maasai Mara National Reserve has more than 500 wildlife species.
Lake Nakuru National Park is known for being the only park where you can find both species of black and white rhino. It is also the only park that is not big. Within three hours, you will be done with the game drive. The place contains more of birdwatching and tree-climbing lions, buffalos, and waterbucks. The park's evergreen color is because of the lake.
