Day 1: Nairobi - Arusha
After breakfast at 07:30, you'll leave for Arusha on a shuttle bus to arrive at the Namanga border town at about 10:30. After immigration formalities, you'll proceed to Arusha to arrive in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight are at a budget hotel.
Day 2: Arusha - Lake Manyara National Park
After breakfast, you'll leave for Lake Manyara with lunch en route and a game drive at Lake Manyara National Park, famous for its tree climbing lions and large flocks of flamingos. Dinner and overnight are at the campsite.
Day 3: Lake Manyara National Park - Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast, you'll descend 2,000 feet (670 meters) into the crater floor with your picnic lunch for a full day at the park with a lunch break at Ngoitoktok springs picnic site. The main crater is 165 kilometers and contains populations of varied species, including black manned lions, rhinos, buffaloes, elephants, and other grazing animals. Dinner and overnight are at the lodge or campsite.
Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater - Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, you will leave Ngorongoro for Olduvai Gorge. You will have lunch at the Olduvai Gorge Museum, then you'll visit various sites of the gorge to see where the remains of a prehistoric man were discovered by the famous archeologist Dr. Louis Seymour Bazett Leakey, and proceed to Serengeti plains with afternoon game drives. Dinner and overnight are at the campsite or lodge.
Day 5: Serengeti National Park
The Serengeti, Maasai for “endless plains,” is famous for its enormous concentration of game, especially the big cats, and for the annual migration of millions of wildebeests, zebras, and Thomson’s gazelles. The abundance of plains game in this area is truly astounding. You will enter the park through the lesser traveled western corridor and game drive en-route to the campsite in the center of the park in the evening, where you will be surrounded by the silence of the African bushveld, pierced only by the calls of the nocturnal wildlife.
Day 6: Serengeti National Park - Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, you'll depart for Tarangire National Park to arrive in time for lunch. In the afternoon, you'll enjoy a game drive at the most beautiful park in Tanzania which has a huge animal concentration. Tarangire is full of vegetation. Dinner and overnight are at the lodge or campsite.
Day 7: Tarangire National Park - Arusha
After breakfast and your final game drive at the park, you'll leave for Arusha with lunch en route. Overnight is at a budget hotel.
Day 8: Arusha - Nairobi
After breakfast, you'll leave Arusha on a shuttle bus to Nairobi. You'll arrive in Nairobi in the afternoon, where you will be dropped at the hotel or Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO).
