Location

This safari will take place at Maasai Mara National Reserve, Lake Nakuru National Park, and Amboseli National Park (at the foot of Africa’s highest mountain, Kilimanjaro) in Kenya.

  • Maasai Mara: migration of wildebeest and the big five animals
  • Lake Nakuru: endagered rhino species and flamingoes
  • Amboseli: the Mount Kilimanjaro view and the biggest African elephants

Maasai Mara National Reserve

Maasai Mara National Reserve is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Kenya, and in the entire world, located in the Great Rift Valley in primarily open grassland. It is regarded as the jewel of Kenya’s wildlife viewing areas. The annual wildebeest migration alone involves over one and a half million animals arriving in July and departing in November. There are numerous species of mammals, amphibians, reptiles, and birds on the reserve. The Big Five (buffalo, elephant, leopard, lion, and rhino) is present in the Maasai Mara.

Lake Nakuru National Park

Lake Nakuru National Park is located on the floor of the Great Rift Valley and surrounded by wooded and bushy grassland, and surrounded by escarpment and picturesque ridges. Lake Nakuru National Park is ideal for bird-watching, hiking, picnics, and game drives.

Amboseli National Park

Amboseli National Park is one of Kenya's most popular parks, situated next to Africa's highest peak, Mount Kilimanjaro. Amboseli is one of the best places in Africa to view large herds of elephants up close. Nature lovers can explore five different habitats here ranging from the dried-up bed of Lake Amboseli, wetlands with sulphur springs, the savannah, and woodlands. The local Maasai community who live around the park is one of the best authentic cultural experiences.
