Your first two nights will be spent to Ngalawa Camp while your third and fourth nights will be spent at Camp Bastian.

Program

Day 1: Dar es Salaam to Selous Game Reserve

Early morning after breakfast at 8 a.m., you will be picked up from your hotel in Dar es Salaam and drive to Selous Game Reserve. You will have picnic lunch on the way and the journey will take about five hours through the most unexplored and untouched areas in Tanzania.

In the afternoon, you will embark on boat safari where you’ll admire hippos and crocodiles in their natural habitat. Meals and overnight will be at Ngalawa Camp.

Day 2: Full day game drive in Selous Game Reserve

Breakfast in your accommodation followed by full day game drives in the reserve. Selous is a home to large population of elephant, big number of buffalo and wild dog. Other species commonly seen are lion, bushbuck, impala, giraffe, eland, baboon, zebra, kudus, and crocodile. Dinner and overnight will be at the Ngalawa

Day 3: Selous Game Reserve to Mikumi National Park

After breakfast, you will have a walking safari, the most exciting experience unique in Tanzania, accompanied by rangers armed for about two hours. Thereafter, proceed with game viewing en-route to Mikumi National Park on the way, enjoying the landscape. All meals and accommodation at Camp Bastian.

Day 4: Full day game drive in Mikumi National Park

Morning after breakfast, enjoy a full day game viewing in the park. The Mikumi flood plain is the main feature of the park along with the bordering mountain ranges. Animals commonly found here include lion, eland, hartebeest, buffalo, wildebeest, giraffe, zebra, hippo, and elephant. The Mikumi elephants are mainly grazers and do not causes damage. Dinner and overnight will be at Camp Bastian.

Day 5: Mikumi National Park to Dar es Salaam

Before breakfast, visit a Maasai Vilage near the park to see and enjoy their life. Thereafter depart to Dar es Salaam where the tour ends.
