During your safari, you will be accommodated as mentioned:

La Maison Royale Hotel

Rooms at La Maison Royale are elegantly furnished with warm tones. Each is equipped with air conditioning, satellite TV, iPod docking station, safety deposit box, and a mini bar. The bathrooms are fitted with free toiletries and slippers.

Lake Naivasha Sopa Resort

Set in one hundred and fifty acres of grassland studded with Acacia bushes and trees, the resort is not only home to the resident giraffe, waterbucks, and both Vervet and Colobus monkeys, but also a night stop for the hippos, when they leave the lake every night to come and trim the grass on the expansive lawns. All these are completed with Sopa’s traditional and conscientious care for the environment.

They have two swimming pools with a children’s section and a pool complex with its bar, snack kitchen, pizzeria, and health spa, a tennis court, two conference halls with their four differently sized meeting areas, and stables widely set apart.

Lake Nakuru Sopa Lodge

Located on a range of hills that form the western limits of Africa’s Great Rift Valley, the lodge offers spectacular views over the vastness of Africa. The lodge also overlooks Lake Nakuru and its surrounding national park which is a paradise for bird watchers and wildlife lovers alike.

Sweetwaters tented camp

Accommodation at Sweetwaters Serena Camp in Kenya is comprised of 56 tents, each with its own en-suite bathroom, hot and cold running water, 24-hour hot showers, and flushing water closets. All the tents have canvas interiors, solid floors, and separate thatched roofs. Electricity is provided by 24-hour generator. 14 of the tents are on raised platforms with private balconies, the rest have private verandas, all with safari chairs, and tables.

Extra beds and cots can also be provided. Each tent features either a king-sized double bed or two twin-beds. Mosquito nets are provided, as are hot water bottles at night.

Day 1: Nairobi

On your arrival at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (NBO) in Nairobi, you will be met by a Sir Michaels Safaris’ representative outside the customs and immigration halls. You will then be taken to Kenya comfort Hotel for your overnight stay in Nairobi.

Day 2: Nairobi - Ol Pejeta Game Conservancy

You will have breakfast at the hotel and after you will depart to the Mount Kenya region and the Ol Pejeta Game Conservancy. The Ol Pejeta Game Conservancy boasts an astounding variety of animals including the non-indigenous chimpanzees and the Big Five (the endangered black rhino, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and lion). The combination of amazing wildlife and stunning views across the open plains of the sanctuary guarantees an unforgettable safari experience.

You will then arrive and check-in at the Sweetwaters tented camp, followed by lunch. Afternoon will be spent at leisure. You will have dinner and overnight stay at the camp.

Day 3: Ol Pejeta Game Conservancy - Lake Nakuru

After breakfast, you will check-out and depart to Lake Nakuru National Park, situated in the Great Rift Valley. Arrive and check-in at Nakuru Sopa Lodge, followed by lunch. Depart for an afternoon game drive in the park and around the alkaline lake. Lake Nakuru National Park, the world famous haunt for pink flamingos, is a shallow alkaline lake in Kenya's Rift Valley.

The road from Nairobi to Nakuru passes down the Kikuyu escarpment with fine views of the Kedong Valley, Mounts Suswa, and Longonot. The landscape is picturesque, areas of sedge, marsh and grasslands alternating with rocky cliffs, and outcrop. In late 80's, the park also became Kenya's first rhino sanctuary and is today home to both the white and black rhinos. Lions, leopards, hippos, giraffes, and waterbucks are equally at home in this unique park.

Day 4: Lake Nakuru - Lake Naivasha

After breakfast at the lodge, you will depart to Lake Naivasha. Arrive and check-in at Naivasha Sopa. After lunch in the afternoon, proceed for a boat ride on the lake, which will give you a close-up look at the hippos. Visit the Crescent Island, almost the ‘garden of Eden’ for a walking safari. Lake Naivasha is a beautiful freshwater lake, fringed by thick papyrus.

The lake and its surrounds are rich in natural bounty and the fertile soils and water supply have made this one of Kenya's prime agricultural regions. Much of the lake is surrounded by forests of the yellow barked Acacia Xanthophlea, known as the yellow fever tree. These forests abound with bird life, and Naivasha is known as a world class birding destination.

The waters of the lake draw a great range of game to these shores. Giraffes wander among the acacia, buffalo wallow in the swamps, and Colobus monkeys call from the treetops while the lakes’ large hippo population sleep the day out in the shallows.

Day 5: Lake Naivasha - Masai Mara

After breakfast, check-out then drive to the world-famous Masai Mara National Reserve via Narok Town. Arrive and check-in for lunch at Mara Sopa Lodge. In the afternoon, depart for a game drive in the reserve until sundown. Masai Mara offers an absolutely unique variety of animals thanks to the hilly region both humid and fertile, and criss-crossed by the rivers Mara and Talek, full of crocodiles and hippos.

These perennial rivers carry water the whole year round. The banks of the rivers are covered in thick forest, which gradually makes way for bush and grassland. The abundance of water and excellent availability of food are some of the reasons for a high density of wildlife there.

Day 6: Masai Mara

Today you will enjoy a full day spent in the reserve with morning and afternoon game drives. Meals and overnight are at Mara Sopa Lodge.

Day 7: Masai Mara - Nairobi -departure day

After breakfast at the camp, you will check-out, then drive to Nairobi for departures.
