Benson Laizer

Benson Laizer first worked as a teacher, before going on to study to become a guide. Apart from guiding courses, Benson also attended a number of seminars and workshops in hospitality and tourism management. He was born to be a guide, having grown up just a mile away from the famous Ngorongoro Highlands. His interpretive knowledge of wildlife stems from having grown up close to so many wild animals. He is currently the head safari guide at Simba Adventures Ltd.

Thadei Msofe

Thadei’s career inspiration was to become a major player in the wildlife field and tourism management. He has a gold certificate in Field and Tour guiding from Mweka Wildlife College. He studied a number of different things such as wildlife and tourism, natural history, animal behavior, culture and history, communications, and first aid. Thadei has been working in the field since 2006 and joined Simba Adventures Ltd in 2011, where he is working as a full-time guide.

Abel Temu

Abel was born and raised at the slope of Mount Kilimanjaro. He is a Gold-rated safari guide and has largely acquired all his guiding and training skills on the job. He holds a diploma in Tourism from the University of Tanzania. He has a sensitive eye and photographers often request for him.

David Mbaga

David is a great safari guide with a special ability to spot wildlife and different bird species. He enjoys conducting nature walks, loves being with people, and has a vast knowledge of the flora and fauna of his surroundings. David’s work experience includes being a teacher at some of the tourism colleges and a guide in the Selous Game Reserve prior to coming to Simba Adventures Ltd.

Jonas Lekule

Jonas really loves Tanzania and calls it a “magical place to be!” He is passionate about what he does, and his love for the outdoors is reflected in his actions, especially when he takes guests on game drives for various sightings. His incredible knowledge of the flora, fauna, and diverse facts on various subjects make him a unique “teacher” in the wildlife community and conservation area based at Simba Adventures Ltd.

"We just finished our 5 day, 4 night safari taking us from Tarangire National Park, to Serengeti National Park, and the Ngorongoro Crater. We had an amazing time see animals and sights that I will never forget. The accommodations were fantastic. Simba Adventures was extremely helpful with planning and trip coordination. We are so happy we went with this company. Our driver David was the best! He could spot animals just while driving that we had trouble picking out with binoculars. With his help we saw our share of cheetahs, lions, leopards, and more. I would recommend this company to anyone that was looking for a safari. "

"My son and I had only half a day to experience a safari in Tanzania. Simba Adventures gave us an enjoyable experience in which we saw a number of baboons, water buffalo, and flamingos as well as many other monkeys species. Our hike brought us through beautiful forest terrain, with waterfalls and unique trees. Simba furnished us with a good lunch and the transported us to the airport for our departure. Everything was well coordinated and enjoyable."

"Some years ago I had the pleasure to go for a safari with Simba Adventures. I went to a few different companies and asked for itinerary and prices and the one that sounded to be most value for money was Simba. I must admit I was a bit sceptical that they would deliver everything they promised since it was a really good bargain. They even gave me a free night in Arusha. We went to a Lake and to Ngorongoro and they not only delivered what they had promised but so much more. My vacation actually turned into a permanent stay in East Africa and after many tours and safaris I still consider this to be one of the most valuable for the money I paid. I can mention that on the return to Arusha was a public holiday but Ally, the owner, actually contacted me and made sure everything had been ok. That is customer care and I can without any doubt recommend Simba Adventures"

"As a lone traveler on this occasion, I linked up with Simba Adventures through my hotel reception desk, after visiting a number of other highly recommended safari operators in Arusha. I was fortunate enough to join a small group on a 2-day Tarangire/Ngorongoro game drive, with a stop at a campsite near Lake Manyara for the overnight, which lowered the price significantly as compared to what it would have cost me to go private, something which other local safari operators were not able to offer me. Juma, our driver and guide, was excellent with everybody - polite, informative, helpful, patient, which created a good atmosphere in the vehicle. We all became friends. We were extremely lucky to see no less than 19 lions at Tarangire, and about half that much in Ngorongoro, aside from plenty of elephants in both parks. Can't talk about other operators but this was certainly did the job!"

"The communication and overall organization of the trip was really excellent. We just misunderstood one small detail which is the reason for one missing star. Otherwise I can only recommend this services and I'm going to use them again myself."

"My wife and I (recently retired) just got back from a fabulous safari holiday in Tanzania and felt that the tour company is deserving of our appreciation and recommendation. Simba Adventures Ltd based in Arusha, Tanzania put together an 8 day safari in the Northern circuit using mostly tented lodges according to our wishes and budget. From our very first enquiry their responses were timely, friendly and comprehensive. All arrangements went like clockwork, and our driver/guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. Our safari covered Tarangire National Park, the Olduvai Gorge, Serengeti (where we spent 3 days at Kati Kati tented camp which was our favourite camp) then the Ngorongoro Crater, as well as several planned and unplanned visits to Maasai markets and cultural tours of villages. Our driver/guide made sure we saw everything possible, including rare sightings of a Rhino in Serengeti, a Cheetah close up, several sightings and mingling with the migration herds, and an unforgettable sunrise game drive with wonderful daybreak colours of the countryside. Thank you, Simba Adventures Ltd."
