Ang'ata Ngorongoro Camp

The camp has eight guest tents including a two-tent family unit, a lounge, and a dining tent. Each guest tent has an en-suite bathroom with a shower, vanity desk, and flush toilets. Depending on request, a king-sized bed, two twin beds, or triples are available. The lounge is the place to meet other travelers and share your day’s safari stories while enjoying a complementary cup of Tanzanian coffee or tea. Breakfasts, lunches, and dinners are served in the dining tent, freshly prepared by the chefs daily. A bush TV (local name for campfire) is lit when the weather permits it.

  • Accommodation level: Mid-range

Ngorongoro Simba Campsite

Simba Campsite lies on the very rim of Ngorongoro Crater and has an excellent view across the caldera. A fantastic sunrise over the crater rim makes a fine breakfast scene. Often, elephants are wandering around the camp. This campsite is guarded. Tents have mats, and bathrooms are outside the tent. Facilities at Simba Campsite are basic, but this is more than made up for by the atmosphere of this camp in the clouds.
