Selvaventura Ecolodge Iquitos invites you to experience the wonder of Amazon. You will have plenty of jungle walks and boat rides, as well as various animals seeing in the game reserves you will visit. You will learn about the Amazon culture straight from its people and take pictures you are going to keep for the rest of your life. Join this wildlife tour with your loved ones and discover the way of living so close to nature!
You will be mostly staying at Selvaventura Ecolodge Iquitos except for the second night where you will be camping on the other side of the jungle. At the lodge, you can find Wi-Fi, fans, and a private kitchen and bathroom as parts of the amenities.
You will be transferred from the airport to the port where you will take a boat and sail down the Amazon River at 12:30. You will arrive in a town to visit a reserve where you can learn about the alligators and also see the largest freshwater fish. After seeing these animals, you back to the boat to continue the trip down the Amazon to reach the lodge where you will have the respective accommodation after the arrangement to wait for lunch at 13:30. At 15:30, you prepare to go looking for gray and pink dolphins of the Amazon, where you can swim a little close to the dolphins. You will also appreciate the sunset of the Amazon. You will return to the lodge at 18:00 before the night come. After dinner at 19:30, you will have a night walk to find some animals and hear the sounds of the jungle.
Your breakfast is at 08:10. At 09:30, you prepare to go down to the Amazon and swim there if you would like to. Then, you head back to the lodge for lunch and break at 13:30. At 15:30, you will prepare to go to the other side of the jungle for overnight. Pack just the essentials including nets and leave other things at the lodge. Arriving at the place, you will set the place for camping, make a bonfire at night, and prepare the dinner. Then, you can make a night walk to look for snakes, tarantulas, and other animals. The guide will always have real stories to tell the campers like you.
You return to the lodge for breakfast at 08:30. At 09:45, you will be preparing to go to visit a reserve where you can see and play with many species of monkeys, anacondas, macaws, sloths, toucans, coates, and more. The reserve is a place where animals are in temporary protection and are completely free. After a few hours of being in the monkey reserve, you will swim in the Amazon and arrive fresh at the lodge for lunch and break at 13:30. At 15:30, prepare to go for a walk in the jungle to see giant trees known as medicinal plants where you will see lots of wild vegetation. The guide will explain about the traditional medicine of the jungle. After walking through the jungle, you walk back for dinner at 19:30 in the lodge. Then, you will take a night boat ride to search for alligators or snakes and hear the sound of the jungle.
Breakfast is at 08:00 and at 09:30, you will visit a village where you will appreciate the lifestyle of the Amazonian people, chat with the locals, and take photos with them, where you will know much more about the life and activities of the Amazonian people. Lunch is at 13:30 and at 14:40, you will return to the city and end this tour.
On the last day of the tour, you will be visiting a village full of Amazonian people and learn about their culture.
