Come experience the wilderness of Tanzania with Selous Ngalawa Camp! This safari will take you to explore Mikumi National Park and Udzungwa Mountains National Park. You will be accommodated at Mikumi Bush Camp and Udzungwa Twiga Hotel or Udzungwa Hondo Hondo Mud Hut.
Mikumi Bush Camp is a bush and wild campsite with ready installed tents equipped with beds and mattresses. There are six tents (five tents twin beds and one double bed tent) to accommodate 12 people. There are flush toilets with showers (cold) and mini dining. It is a perfect place for your stay as birds will serenade you during early morning to usher you that the sun is rising and it is time to get ready for breakfast and game. A bonfire is set during the night while talking and sipping your drinks. It is an ideal place to enjoy the wild feeling of the bush.
Selous Ngalawa Camp will pick you from Julius Nyerere International Airport (DAR), hotel, ferry or home in the morning and travel 283 kilometers to Mikumi National Park. Have a breakfast stop at the restaurant in Msolwa, then proceed with a drive to the park. Hot lunch to be served at a restaurant. You will have an evening game drive until sunset. This is a home to elephants, lions, wild dogs, zebras, hyenas, buffalos, wildebeests, elands, hartebeest, crocodiles, lizards, and other residents. Over 300 species of birds have been observed in this park. Dinner and overnight will be at Mikumi Bush Camp.

Enjoy an early morning game viewing in the park. Mikumi's vegetation includes woodland, swamp, and grassland with two water holes, Mkata and Chamgore. Apart from the saddle-bill storks, hamerkops, and malachite kingfishers, you will also find monitor lizards and a deadly python inhabiting the pools. Go back for hot lunch and rest in the hotel. After lunch, drive 70 kilometers away to Udzungwa Mountains National Park. On arrival, you will check in at the hotel then drive to the park gate where you will start your trekking to Prince Bernhard Waterfall and finish your day with village walk at Mangula village. Dinner and overnight will be at Udzungwa Twiga Hotel or Udzungwa Hondo Hondo Mud Hut.

After breakfast, start walking in this beautiful park enjoying and experience the stunning natural beauty of the park. Have a picnic lunch in the bush then proceed exploring the area of the wonderful Sanje Waterfall, endemic red colobus monkeys and beautiful scenery. Lunch to be served at the Sanje Viewpoint. After that, you will descend and meet the car then start driving back to Dar es Salaam where you will arrived late evening. Selous Ngalawa Camp will drop you off at the hotel of your choice or home.

Mikumi National Park is located in Southern Tanzania in Morogoro Region about 320 kilometers from Dar es Salaam and Udzungwa Mountains National Park is located southwest of Mikumi National Park about 65 kilometers (40 miles).
Udzungwa Mountains National Park is a national park in Tanzania with a size of 1,990 square kilometers (770 square miles). The habitats contained within the national park include tropical rainforest, mountain forest, miombo woodland, grassland, and steppe. There is a vertical height range of 250 - 2,576 meters (the peak of Lohomero), which incorporates the Udzungwa Mountains' part of the Eastern Arc Mountains. There are more than 400 bird species, 2,500 plant species (25% of which are endemics) and six primate species. It has the second largest biodiversity of a national park in Africa. Tourism in the Udzungwa Mountains National Park revolves around hiking and trekking, as the park has no roads and is accessible only on foot.
