One of the accommodations you will be staying at is the Vic Falls Hotel. This hotel commands a prime location overlooking the Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe. A national and African treasure, the fall is the largest sheet of falling water in the world, one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World, and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
This raw nature and adventure are the reasons that the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) selected Victoria Falls for the world’s most important tourism summit in 2013 and then rated it their best ever. The access is easy with a new international airport and the choice of several daily flights from major hubs such as Johannesburg, Nairobi, Lusaka, Windhoek, and Harare. The mighty mile-wide Falls are the upshot of the legendary Zambezi River cascading over 100 meters into a narrow basalt gorge. The river gives rise to many activities, such as some gentle sunset safari cruises, on-board dinners, and some that are high-adrenaline for serious adventurers only.
During this safari, you will be served 19 breakfasts, 17 lunches, and 19 dinners. There will be an excellent variety of food. You can also plan your own meals and do your own shopping to stock your vehicle. You will have all your own cooking equipment, fridge, etc. in your vehicle so you can be self-sufficient.
When you are at the Vic Falls Hotel, you will be presented a connoisseur’s delight of dining options, with internationally-trained chefs creating exquisite dishes. Their restaurants offer the finest menu selections in the town. There is also a fine selection of wines and liqueurs available to suit the most discerning international guests at an extra cost.
You can pamper yourself with some treatments at the Vic Falls Hotel at an extra cost. You can relieve your stiff muscles after a long journey with a back and neck massage, followed by a foot massage for top-to-toe rejuvenation. The hotel offers a range of treatments from Swedish body massage (neck, shoulder, and back), Clarins ultimate body relax, scrub, and massage, aromatherapy full body massage, as well as Clarins custom-designed facials, pedicures and manicures.

"Having traveled with Self Drive Adventures in Southern Africa in 2014, we were quick to say yes to their invitation to be included in their exploratory trip of Morocco. We weren’t disappointed."

"We have traveled to many interesting places in the world but nothing has ever compared with our holiday with Self Drive Adventures. We love a 4x4 driving, camping, and having adventures in the outdoors. That’s exactly what our holiday offered. The added bonus was the fact that we saw animals by the hundreds, visited villages and schools, as well as having the opportunity to meet and mix with the locals. It ticked every box. Linda and Mike organized everything with professionalism, nothing was ever any trouble and their knowledge of the country was outstanding. We would highly recommend an African Self Drive Adventure as your next holiday destination, you won’t be disappointed."
