This raw nature and adventure are the reasons that the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) selected Victoria Falls for the world’s most important tourism summit in 2013 and then rated it their best ever. The access is easy with a new international airport and the choice of several daily flights from major hubs such as Johannesburg, Nairobi, Lusaka, Windhoek, and Harare. The mighty mile-wide Falls are the upshot of the legendary Zambezi River cascading over 100 meters into a narrow basalt gorge.
