Day 1: Arrival and visit to the hanging bridges

Private transfer from the airport to Hotel Secreto La Fortuna, followed by a visit to the hanging bridges in the afternoon. You will be immersed in Paradise walking for three kilometers long of trails including 15 bridges. Six of the bridges are suspension bridges which have been spectacularly designed to provide extreme safety and an incomparable adventure at the same time.

You will admire the rainforest from the ground (like a jaguar), from an average height (like a monkey), and from the tops of the tallest trees (like an eagle).

Day 2: Caño Negro tour

Have breakfast at hotel and go on a tour of Caño Negro. Tours operate along the Río Frío (Cold River), a slow-flowing river that winds through canyons on its way to the Caño Negro Lake. Along the shores of the river and in the trees that bend over its waters, visitors will be able to spot birds, mammals, reptiles and amphibians. There are howler, spider and white-faced monkeys, three-toed sloth, caimans, turtles, and even lizards.

Keep your eyes on the river, too - there’s the chance of spotting the fin of a freshwater shark as it slices above the water’s surface. Return to the hotel by 4 p.m. You will be provided with equipment in general, bottle of water, snacks, and typical lunch for today.

Day 3: Río Celeste

Have breakfast at hotel and visit Rio Celeste. A unique place of great natural beauty, Celeste River has its name due the color of its turquoise waters produced by a chemical reaction, where converge the rivers Buena Vista and Roble, which count with different chemical characteristics, creating the color.

This place is known as "Tenidero" and is hidden in the middle of the rainforest, very characteristic the area. From this point the river, with its unique color flows by the forest without losing its coloration, not even near its waterfall. Return to the hotel by 4 p.m. You will be provided with a typical lunch for today.

Day 4: Arenal Volcano

Have breakfast at hotel and hike the Arenal Volcano, walk around Cerro Chato, and visit the thermal water river. Positioned within Costa Rica’s fertile northern lowlands, the Arenal Volcano is an unavoidable presence while traveling within this part of the country. It is tall and imposing and has a reputation that precedes itself.

Arenal’s perfectly symmetrical shape makes it a sightseer’s dream, while its abundance of outdoor activities makes it an easy place to check things off your “must-do in Costa Rica” list. Return to the hotel by 7:30 p.m. You will be provided with a typical lunch for today.
