Kenya is the birthplace of safari. With endless savannas teeming with game, fascinating Maasai culture, snow-capped mountains, flamingo-filled lakes and pristine beaches, Kenya conjures the true spirit of adventure and romance. It has over 1,000 recorded bird species in Kenya. The wildebeest migration in Maasai Mara is one of the Seven New Wonders of the World.
It is also home to the ancient Maasai tribe. The world’s second longest coral reef is the Kenyan Barrier Reef and some of Africa’s best white sand beaches and isolated islands are in Kenya. There, you can have breathtaking wildlife encounters, experience extraordinary birdwatching, mountain climbing, island getaways, beach, luxury safari lodges, and camps perfect for honeymoons.
From the exquisite views of Mount Kilimanjaro from Amboseli National Park to the rare black rhinos in Laikipia, baby elephant orphanage in Nairobi, and white sand beaches at the coast, Kenya has it all. Letting your expert guides take you north, you will find a fascinating and unique contrast to the Maasai Mara.
Visit Samburu, Shaba, and Mount Meru, home to the beisa oxryx, gernuk, reticulated giraffe, and Somali ostrich. Crown your safari adventure with a relaxing beach holiday along Kenya’s sunny coastline. The place is ideal for swimming, snorkeling, sailing, diving, or big game fishing in the coastal waters.
Steer away from the tourist hotspots and soak up a dose of the rich Swahili history in the historic town of Mardi. The diversity is why Kenya is one of Africa’s most popular honeymoon and family safari destinations.
Maasai Mara is one of the world’s most magnificent game reserves famous for the great migration when thousands of wildebeest, zebras, and Thomson’s gazelle travel to Mara from the Serengeti, from July through October. The Mara River throngs of hippos and crocodiles lurk.
