Program

Day 1 - Arusha city

After your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), there will be a Savannah Explorers guide waiting for you to take you to Arusha where you will be able to rest in a hotel or simply have a small look around the city.

Day 2 - Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, you'll depart for the park of the Tarangire to have a look at the wild fauna. The park is famous for its herds of elephants, the trees baobab and the African pythons that often climb on the trees. The lunch will be picnic while dinner and overnight stay will be near the lodge.

Day 3 - Lake Manyara National Park

The safari proceeds with the tour of the national park of Lake Manyara, one of the most beautiful Tanzanian parks with the most different biodiversity. In a surface of only 330 kilometers square, those 230 are occupied by the lake, is possible to meet five different ecosystems. The park is inhabited by over 380 types of birds and a big number of animal kinds such as elephants, buffalos, zebras, giraffes, leopards, lions, baboons, hippos, antelopes, warthogs and so many others. Picnic lunch and overnight stay will be at the lodge.

Day 4 - Arrival at Serengeti National Park

Today is the day of the Serengeti National Park. To reach it, you will cross the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. During the trip, you'll able to proceed with the photo-safari and you'll have picnic lunch. Once reached the entry of the park, you will have time to climb to the panoramic point near Naabi Gate where you will able to take some photos.

The photo-safari will continue in Serengeti and you'll reach the lodge or the tent-camp for dinner. The Serengeti is the most famous park in Tanzania, known in all over the world for his boundless lowlands, the migration of the wildebeests, the flocks of lions and the other raiders as hyenas, cheetahs, leopards, jackals and crocodiles. The 'Serengeti' word means “Endless Plain”. Really, the name couldn't be more appropriate.

Day 5 - Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, you'll continue the visit of the park where you will be able to get some photos of the wild animals and / or the spectacular panoramas. At the end of the day, you'll return to the lodgings to eat.

Day 7 - Ngorongoro Crater visit

Before breakfast or immediately after breakfast, in the early morning, you will proceed to the Ngorongoro Crater for the photo safari. The crater is of one of the most suggestive landscapes to the world, where you can admire the dormant volcano and the nature that surrounds it. In the park, it will be possible to see the Big Five, elephants, buffalos, lions, leopards, and rhinos, but you should pay attention that, around that area, there are like 30,000 animals and a great variety of birds species.

Day 8 - Transfer to airport and coming back to home

This is the last day of safari. It will be organized marvelously allowing to you, before the departure, to have a trip around the city just to have time to buy some souvenirs for friends and family. After that, you will be accompanied to the airport to return to home, or to continue your vacation sojourning on the Zanzibar Island.
