Program

Day 1: Nairobi Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (NBO JKIA) - Nairobi City – Crowne Plaza Nairobi Airport Hotel (10 kilometers, 30 minutes)

On arrival at Nairobi Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (NBO; JKIA), after customs and immigration formality, you will be met by the meet and greet team. After a warm welcome, a quick introduction to your driver / guide, and a short briefing on do’s and don’ts you will be transferred to Nairobi airport hotel.

Shortly, you will arrive, and check in a double room at Crowne Plaza Airport Hotel Nairobi. Dinner will be served at an extra cost. Overnight will be spent at Crowne Plaza Airport Hotel Nairobi on a bed & breakfast meal plan.

Day 2: Masai Mara National Reserve - Mara Sarova Camp (250 kilometers, approximately 6 hours)

In the morning, you'll wake up, have breakfast, and check out. You will be transferred to Masai Mara National Reserve. You will enjoy the beautiful highlight on the way. Early afternoon you will arrive, check in a club tent for 2 guests, and lunch will be served there.

In the afternoon you will enjoy the free time of leisure. You can enjoy the complimentary usage of the swimming pool and high-speed Wi-Fi or you have a spa and body massage treatment at extra cost.

In the late afternoon, you will experience a guided game viewing till sunset in Masai Mara National Reserve. In the early evening, you will return to camp. Dinner will be served there and overnight will be spent at Mara Sarova Camp on a full board meal plan.

Day 3: Masai Mara National Reserve - Mara Sarova Camp

In the morning, you'll wake up, have breakfast, and carry a packed lunch. Today, you will experience a full day of guided game viewing in Masai Mara National Reserve. At midday, you will stop shortly for lunch and then continue with game viewing.

In the early evening, you will return to camp for refreshments. Dinner will be served there and overnight will be spent at Mara Sarova Camp on a full board meal plan.

Day 4: Lake Naivasha - Naivasha Sopa Spa Resort (220 kilometers, approximately 5 hours)

Very early morning wake up, have breakfast, and check out. You will be transferred to Lake Naivasha, and enjoy the beautiful highlight on the way. In the early afternoon, you will arrive and check in a standard room. Lunch will be served at Naivasha Sopa Spa Resort.

Late afternoon, you will enjoy a guided nature walk in Crescent Island and a guided engine boat ride in Lake Naivasha, home to over 200 different species of wildlife e.g. hippos, aquatic birds, beautiful scenery, etc.

In the early evening, you will return to the resort. Dinner will be served there and overnight will be spent at Naivasha Spa Resort on a full board meal plan.

Day 5: Amboseli National Park - Kibo Safari Camp (350 kilometers, approximately 6 hours)

This morning, you'll wake up, have breakfast, and check out of the hotel. You will be transferred to Amboseli National Park, situated on the foot of Kilimanjaro the highest peak in Africa. Its peak Kibo measures 5895 asl, the third in the world after Himalaya. You will enjoy the beautiful highlight on the way.

Early afternoon, you will arrive at Amboseli National Park, and check in a club tent for 2 guests. Lunch will be served there. Late afternoon, you will experience a guided game viewing until sunset in Amboseli National Park. In the early evening, you will return to the camp, and dinner will be served there. Overnight at Kibo Safari Camp on full board meal plan.

Day 6: Amboseli National Park - Kibo Safari Camp

Wake up very early in the morning. You will be served coffee / tea and some titbits. Thereafter you will experience a sunrise guided game viewing in Amboseli National Park. Later you will return to camp for a full breakfast.

Mid-morning, you will enjoy another game viewing until mid-day. You will return to camp for lunch, and in the afternoon, you will enjoy the free time of leisure. You may enjoy the complimentary usage of the swimming pool, and high-speed Wi-Fi or enjoy a spa and body massage treatment at an extra cost.

Late afternoon, you will experience a guided game viewing until sunset in Amboseli National Park. In the early evening, you will return to camp and dinner will be served there. Overnight will be spent at Kibo Safari Camp on a full board meal plan.

Day 7: Tsavo West National Park - Kilaguni Serena Safari Lodge (110 kilometers, approximately 4 hours)

This morning, you will wake up very early, have breakfast, then check out. You will be transferred to Tsavo West National Park through the Chyulu Hills gate. Tsavo is famous for its mane-less lions and red elephants. You will enjoy the beautiful highlight on the way. You will stop shortly to view the scenery of Shetani Lava.

In the early afternoon, you will arrive at Kilaguni Serena Safari Lodge, and check into an en suite double room. Lunch will be served there.

In the afternoon, you will enjoy the free time of leisure or enjoy the complimentary usage of the swimming pool, bicycle riding, high-speed Wi-Fi or spa, and body massage treatment at extra cost.

In the late afternoon, you will experience a guided game viewing and a visit to Mzima Springs, well known for a guided nature walk that allows you to see fauna at a close range e.g. black-face vervet monkeys, crocodiles, hippos, tilapia fish, etc.

In the early evening, you will return to the lodge. Dinner will be served there. Overnight is at Kilaguni Serena Safari Lodge on full board meal plan.

Day 8: Taita Hills Game Reserve - Saltlicks Safari Lodge (130 kilometers, approximately 4 hours)

Very early in the morning, you'll wake up, have breakfast, then check out. You will be transferred to Taita Hills afterward. En route, you'll enjoy beautiful highlights.

In the early afternoon, you will arrive at Taita Hills Safari Lodge, and check in a standard double room at Saltlicks Safari Lodge. Lunch will be served at Taita Hills Safari Lodge. Thereafter you will be transferred to Saltlicks Safari Lodge to settle in your room as you view wildlife that come to drink water at the lodge waterhole.

In the late afternoon, you will experience a guided game viewing in the Taita Hills Game Reserve until evening. In the early evening, you will return to the lodge, and dinner will be served. Overnight will be spent at Saltlick Safari Lodge on a full board meal plan.

Day 9: Mombasa - South Coast - Swahili Beach Resort (200 kilometers, 4 hours)

Early morning, you will wake up, have coffee / tea and some titbits, and then experience a sunrise guided game viewing in Taita Hills Game Reserve. Later, return to the lodge for a full breakfast and refreshments. You will later check out and be transferred to Mombasa's south coast. Enjoy the beautiful scenery on the way.

At midday, you will stop shortly to have lunch and then proceed with the journey. In the early evening, you will arrive at Swahili Beach Resort. You will check into a Superior double room, followed by refreshments. Enjoy a free time of leisure and house-selected drinks. Dinner will be served there.

Overnight will be spent at Swahili Beach Resort on a full board meal plan.

Day 10 - 11: Mombasa - South Coast - Swahili Beach Resort

Late morning, wake up, have breakfast, then enjoy free time of leisure at Papillon Lagoon Reef Beach Resort or enjoy the complimentary usage of in and outdoor sports, swimming pool, etc. You can also experience some excursions offered by Savannah Adventures at extra costs. Lunch, dinner, complimentary house-selection wines, beers, soft drinks, and fresh fruit juices will be served there. Overnight will be spent at Papillon Lagoon Reef Beach Resort on a full board meal plan.

Day 12: Departure - Miritini SGR - Soykimau - JKIA

After waking up, you will have breakfast, and then check out. You will be transferred to Mombasa standard gauge railway station for an early morning train. The estimated departure time will be 08.00, while the estimated arrival time at Nairobi Soykimau Station will be 13.00. On arrival, you are welcomed by the meet & greet team. You will be transferred to Nairobi Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. On arrival, have lunch there then you will be offered airport assistance to board home home-bound flight.

Guides

Siraj Khamis

In 1989, Siraj qualified from Kenya Utali College, the highest tourism learning institution in East and Central Africa. He holds a degree in Tourism Management and Guiding. Siraj has worked for Pollman's Tour and Safaris for seven years. In 1997, he left and joined Somak Travel in search of a greener pasture. He worked there for seven years, then, he was offered better terms by Savannah Adventures. He subsequently succumbed to them and finally joined the firm, so ever since then, he's happy to work as a guide. Serving you is his passion, expect a very informative and a full fun-packed holiday!

Location

Masai Mara National Reserve

The reserve is well known for the big five animals (lion, leopard, rhino, elephant, buffalo). Here, you can also see the beautiful scenery, big herds of antelopes, reptiles, etc.

Lake Naivasha

This national park is known for its big herds of hippos, bird paradise, fantastic scenery, and big herds of antelopes like waterbucks, impalas, and giraffes are seen during the guided boat ride and guided nature walk.

Amboseli National Park

It is famous for its beautiful scenery of the highest African mountain Kilimanjaro (about 6000 meters above sea level), big herds of elephants, pride of lions, cheetahs, buffaloes, giraffes, warthogs, zebras, gnus, bird paradise, etc.

Tsavo West National Park

It is famous for its magnificent scenery e.g Shetani lava, porches lookout, bat caves, Chaimu lava, big herds of red elephants, giraffes, lesser Kudus, perks of wild hunting dogs, bird paradise, leopard, buffaloes, dik-diks, hippos, crocodiles, etc.

Taita Hills Sanctuary

Well known for its unique saltlicks lodge constructed on stilts. It is an ideal place to enjoy wildlife which comes to drink water from the nearby water holes, big herds of antelopes e.g. hartebeests, elands, oryx, pride of lions, cheetahs, etc.

Mombasa city

Well known as the capital city of tourists with a lot of recreational activities and facilities, e.g. the long fine sand beach with sunny weather, water sports, a variety of cuisines from seafood to typical Swahili dishes, international cuisines, etc. Nightlife, night clubs with live cabarets, casinos, historical sites, marine parks, bush tours, etc.
