The Kruger National Park spans 360 kilometers from North to South and 65 kilometers from West to East. Sabi River Lodge
Sabi River Lodge is an experience rather than a destination – it promises to build you a unique bushveld encounter on the banks of the Sabi River. Situated outside the town of Hazyview, Mpumalanga, the lodge is within a 10-minute drive into the Kruger National Park and other private big five game reserves, and is also the gateway to many scenic wonders of the Mpumalanga Province of South Africa.
The lodge's communal area overlooks the Kruger National Park from the pool and Boma where you can view the quiet and tranquil sounds of the African Bushveld. A well-equipped kitchen offers traditional and wholesome meals from a menu that caters to all dietary requirements. They have knowledgeable staff who can advise you on other activities in the area, as well as an internet connection and a laundry service.

Program
Day 1: Johannesburg - Kruger National Park (420 kilometers)
You depart early morning with a collection time no later than 7 a.m. from the bus terminal at OR Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg and make your way through the Lowveld via Nelspruit and to the Kruger National Park. You make a quick stop on route to stretch your legs, grab a snack and a drink before continuing via the Schoemanskloof pass and the towns of Nelspruit and White River before arriving at your lodge in Hazyview. After settling in the afternoon, you participate in an afternoon open vehicle game drive in the Kruger National Park.

Day 2: Kruger National Park
A full day open vehicle game drive is enjoyed traversing the Southern parts of the Kruger National Park. An opportunity for excellent game viewing to sight the Big Five as well as hundreds of antelope and bird species exist today. Not guaranteed to sight all the big five such as the elusive leopard during the day. You make your way to various points of Interest within the Skukuza and Lower Sabie area of the Kruger National Park ticking off most of the wildlife that the Kruger has to offer. Lunch is on your own account in camp.

Day 3: Kruger National Park - Johannesburg (420 kilometers)
A lazy morning is spent at the Lodge before your departure time of approximately 11:15 to meet the transfer back to Johannesburg.
Arrival in Johannesburg at OR Tambo International Airport is estimated at 18:00. Please note that if you are flying out to please reserve your flight for an evening departure. Expected time arrival in Johannesburg at 18:00. End of adventure service.

The 3-day safari offers the Kruger experience from within the Kruger National Park that will fit your budget and comes as an African Classic Safari where every single guest has the opportunity to explore the Kruger Park from Johannesburg at an affordable rate and in complete comfort.

You will be provided with dinner on the first day, breakfast and dinner on the second day, and breakfast on the final day of the safari. In order for Sandy Tracks and its travel partners to properly cater to you whilst on tour, it is important to inform them at the point of booking should there be any special dietary requirement.

Please book your flight to arrive at O.R. Tambo International Airport (JNB). Airport transfers are included in the price.
Please be ready at 6:30 a.m. for your collection at the bus terminal in the airport. Your transfer will collect you from the bus terminal and the transfer to the Hazyview for arrival time at approximately 12:20 in time for your afternoon Kruger Game Drive. Your full-day game drive starts at 5 a.m. the following morning.

- A reservation requires a deposit of 40% of the total price.
- The deposit is non-refundable, if the booking is cancelled.
- The rest of the payment should be paid 30 days before arrival.
