Sarova Stanley Hotel (first night)
Set 1 km from the Maasai Market, this upscale hotel dating from 1902 is 1 km from the 13-hectare Uhuru Park and 2 km from Nairobi National Museum. The elegant rooms offer flat-screen TVs, safes and free Wi-Fi, plus minibars and tea- and coffee-making facilities. Upgraded rooms add sitting areas. Suites feature 4-poster beds and/or separate living areas. Room service is available 24/7. Maasai Mara Sopa Lodge (second and third nights)
Located high on the slopes of the Oloolaimutia Hills, the Maasai Mara Sopa Lodge was one of the first safari lodges to be built in the Maasai Mara Game Reserve, a reason why its gardens and trees are so lush and mature. The lodge has 50 guest cottages divided into two wings to either side of the main public areas. Each of these houses has two spacious guest rooms with queen and king size beds, mosquito nets, electronic safes, dressing tables, en-suite bathrooms, and sheltered verandas that all have views over the gardens and the game reserve beyond.

Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi
Arrive at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi, where the representative will be waiting to receive you. After a short briefing, you head to the city center and be dropped off at your hotel. This afternoon, the guide will take you on a walking tour of the city, and get to enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. Evening relaxation at the hotel or optional game meat dinner at the Carnivore Restaurant. Dinner and overnight in Nairobi.
Day 2: Nairobi to Maasai Mara
Start the day with an early breakfast after which you leave for the famous Maasai Mara National Reserve. You will have a stop-over at the Great Rift Valley escarpments for a photo session. Arrive at your hotel in time for lunch. Swimming and relaxation thereafter. You will enjoy an evening game viewing looking for lions, cheetahs, and other wildlife. Dinner and overnight at the camp.
Day 3: Maasai Mara
Today you will spend the day on a full-day safari looking for the Big 5 and other rare games not previously seen. You will head to the Mara River for a walking tour of the river to see the hippo and crocodile families as well as the migration routes. Picnic lunch will be served at the river or at the picnic spots with great views of the plains. Head back to the lodge while making stops to view a game not previously seen. Spend the evening relaxing and later enjoy a bush dinner.
Day 4: Maasai Mara to Nairobi
Early morning game viewing drive or optional hot air balloon safari ride. Later, check out of your camp and take part in a Maasai cultural tour where you learn about the Maasai Culture. You drive back to Nairobi and they drop you off at the airport or your Nairobi residence.

Location
Maasai Mara National Reserve is an area of preserved savannah wilderness in southwestern Kenya, along the Tanzanian border. The landscape has grassy plains and rolling hills and is crossed by the Mara and Talek rivers.
It is known for its spectacular wildlife and is home to a wide variety of animals such as lions, leopards, cheetahs, zebras, hippos, and African bush elephants. Wildebeest traverses its plains during their annual migration. The Great Migration, which is one of the Seven Natural Wonders of Africa and one of the Ten Wonders of the World, also takes place here.
