Program
Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi
Arrive at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi, where a tour representative will be waiting to receive you. After a short brief, transfer to your city hotel for check-in. After relaxation and lunch, head out for the Nairobi city tour. Get to visit the giraffe center, Karen Blixen Museum, Kobe Tough Beads & Leather, and a walking tour of the city center. Head back to the hotel for dinner and overnight. Optional game meat dinner at the Carnivore Restaurant.
Day 2: Nairobi - Aberdare National Park
This morning after breakfast, your guide will pick you up and you drive to the Aberdare National Park. On arrival, check in at the camp. Spend the afternoon at leisure. Head out for an evening game-viewing drive at the park.
Day 3: Aberdare National Park
Enjoy a morning and evening game-viewing drive and excursions in the forest. Animals to be seen include the Lion, Leopard, African elephant, African Hunting Dog, Giant Forest Hog, Bushbuck, Mountain Reedbuck, Waterbuck, Cape Buffalo, Suni, Side-Striped Jackal, Eland, Duikers Olive Baboon, Black and White Colobus Monkey, and Sykes Monkey. Rarer sightings include those of the Golden Cat and the Bongo – an elusive forest antelope that lives in the bamboo forest. Enjoy a sundowner in the evening after the game drive and later dinner and overnight at your lodge.
Day 4: Aberdares - Nairobi
Enjoy an early morning game drive to see animals not previously spotted. Head back to the lodge for breakfast. Check out and depart for Nairobi. Drop off at your residence or airport.

Location
The Aberdare National Park is a protected area in the Aberdare Mountain Range in central Kenya located east of the East African Rift Valley. It covers the higher areas and the Aberdare Salient to the east.
The park contains a wide range of landscapes- from mountain peaks that rise to 4,000 meters (13,000 ft) above sea level, to their deep, v-shaped valleys intersected by streams, rivers, and waterfalls. Moorland, bamboo forests, and rainforests are found at lower elevations.
