During this safari trip, you will be staying at Spirit of the Mara in a private room or private double room. Spirit offers an elegant yet relaxed atmosphere for experiencing the full adventure of the African bush in Siana Conservancy.
Program
Day 1: Nairobi to Masai Mara
Arrive at Nairobi JKIA where Samson's Safaris representative will be waiting to receive you. After a short brief connect to your local flight to the Maasai Mara. On arrival transfer to your hotel for check-in with an en-route game drive. Spend the rest of the evening relaxing and enjoying the hotel facilities. Dinner and overnight at The Spirit of the Masai Mara.
Day 2: Masai Mara
Today, you will spend the day on a full-day safari looking for the Big 5 and other rare wildlife not previously seen. You will head to the Mara River for a walking tour of the river to see the hippo and crocodile families as well as the migration routes and get to experience the wildebeest migration (July - September only). Picnic lunch will be served at the river or at the picnic spots with great views of the plains. Take time at the riverfront for a chance to witness the migration. Head back to the lodge. Spend the evening relaxing and later enjoy a bush dinner/sundowner.
Day 3: Masai Mara
Begin this day with an optional balloon ride over the Mara River and get a rare chance to see the migration from the skies or a shared game drive at Siana Conservancy. Later head back to the river to see the animals cross or relax in your lodge. In the evening, go for a cultural tour of the local community where you learn about the Masai ways of life or a nature walk at Siana Conservancy. Dinner and overnight at your camp.
Day 4: Flight from Mara to Nairobi
After a wonderful time at the World Famous Masai Mara, you will check out and depart enjoying an en-route game viewing drive and being transferred to the airstrip for a local flight to Nairobi. Connect to your flight back home or continue with your safari.
