Program

This Nairobi National Park tour ensures you get to experience the wildlife and get up close to the game with the city backdrop. Your accommodation borders the park. Wildlife is right on your doorstep and you can enjoy breathtaking views over the national park, to the famed Ngong Hills in the west, sundowner in hand. Or you may like to spend the hours away by the pool, or adventure on a safari in the park. Next to it is a well-regarded elephant orphanage operated by the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust.

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive in Kenya

Arrive in Nairobi at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport where a tour representative will be waiting to receive you. After a short brief, drive to the Nairobi National Park. After the formalities and payment of park entrance fees, have a game drive en route to the lodge. Arrive at the lodge, check-in, and have lunch. After relaxation and lunch, head out for a walking tour and shopping at the city center. Have dinner and stay overnight at the lodge or an optional game meat dinner experience at the Carnivore Restaurant.

Day 2: Nairobi National Park

You will have a morning game drive looking for the rhinos, lions, and buffaloes among other wildlife, followed by breakfast at the lodge. Spend the morning at leisure. Have lunch. This evening, head out for a game drive and watch lions hunting. After sunset, head back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Elephant Orphanage tour

After breakfast, check out of the lodge and enjoy an en-route game drive. The team will take you to the Elephant Orphanage (subject to availability) for a chance to view the baby elephants being fed. After a memorable experience, drop off at the airport or continue with your safari.
