Continue with the 5-hour drive. Arrive at your camp for check-in and lunch. Spend the afternoon relaxing. Agree with the driver and other travelers on a pick-up time for the afternoon game drive where you enter the park gate at 4:00 pm. Here you will search for zebras, antelopes, giraffes, elephants, and lions. At sunset and after a wonderful time drive back to camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Maasai Mara

This morning after breakfast, your guide will pick you up from the camp at your agreed time, with a packed picnic lunch box, and transfer you to the main reserve for a full-day game drive. Here, you'll have the opportunity to spot the Big Five along with other animal species in the reserve. Drive to the banks of the Mara River to witness the wildebeest crossings and observe crocodiles patiently waiting for their prey. Enjoy lunch here or under an acacia tree, overlooking snorting hippos in the water and the stunning landscape. After lunch, embark on an afternoon game drive to find animals most active during these hours. After a wonderful day, exit the park and return to the camp/lodge for dinner, relaxation, and an overnight stay.

After breakfast, check out from the camp and have a stopover at the Maasai Village for a 1-hour cultural tour, where you interact with the Maasai Community as you learn their way of life. Location

Maasai Mara National Reserve

The Maasai Mara is one of Kenya’s most famous and iconic wildlife reserves, known for its stunning landscapes and incredible wildlife. Located in the southwestern part of the country, the Mara is part of the larger Serengeti ecosystem, spanning around 1,510 square kilometers.

The reserve is particularly renowned for its annual wildebeest migration, when millions of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles travel across the Mara River in one of nature’s most spectacular events. The Maasai Mara is also home to the "Big Five" (lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino) as well as cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, and various bird species.

The Mara is culturally significant, as it is inhabited by the Maasai people, who live alongside the wildlife. The area offers a variety of safaris, including game drives, hot air balloon rides, and walking safaris, making it a top destination for travelers seeking an authentic safari experience.
