Program
Day 1: Arusha - Lake Manyara
After breakfast at your hotel, you will be picked up at an agreed time, and driven to Lake Manyara National Park. Although small in size, the park is one of the most diverse reserves in the country. Lake Manyara covers two-thirds of the park. Afternoon game viewing at Lake Manyara National Park, famed for its abundant bird life, tree-climbing lions, and large herds of elephants for afternoon game viewing. Dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Lake Manyara National Park - Serengeti
After breakfast, depart Lake Manyara and drive to Serengeti National Park. You will have lunch on the way. Serengeti does not disappoint when it comes to rich game viewing. Annually from May to December, millions of animals embark on a migration that brings them from central Serengeti to Kenya’s Masai Mara and back again in an incredible spectacle. Even during the ‘down-time’, vast herds of wildebeest, zebra, and gazelle roam here, along with groups of elephants, giraffes, and buffalo. As the lions, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, and jackals stalk them. Dinner and overnight at the camp.
Day 3: Serengeti National Park full day
Full-day game drive in Serengeti National Park. Serengeti is home to the spectacular wildebeest migration and offers top-class wildlife viewing throughout the year. This vast area of land supports the greatest remaining concentration of plain game in Africa, on a scale unparalleled anywhere else in the world.
The name Serengeti comes from the Maasai “Siringet”, meaning endless plains. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner at the camp.
Day 4: Serengeti National Park - Ngorongoro Conservation Area
Early morning game drive until afternoon in Serengeti. After lunch, drive to Ngorongoro. The Ngorongoro Conservation Area is a huge area containing active volcanoes, mountains, archeological sites, rolling plains, forests, lakes, dunes, and the Ngorongoro Crater and Olduvai Gorge. The views at the rim of Ngorongoro Crater are sensational. Dinner and overnight at camp.
Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha
In the early morning, descend the crater for a six to seven-hour game drive with a packed lunch. Have lunch at the picnic site then in the afternoon, drive back to Arusha. You will be taken to the Charity Hotel.
Day 6: Arusha
Fly back home.
