You will stay for 2 nights at the Mara Sidai Tented Camp or similar. This is a tented camp with hot water shower, flush toilet, bed, and bedding inside the room. The rooms can accommodate 1 to 3 people maximum.

Program

Day 1: Nairobi - Maasai Mara National Reserve

You will be picked up at a hotel in Nairobi and meet the rest of your group. After safari briefing, you will depart for Maasai Mara through the dramatic Great Rift Valley. This enormous reserve is actually part of the vast Serengeti plains famously known for its spectacular great wildebeest’s migration and is the home of the Big Five: lions, elephants, leopards, buffalos and, rhinos.

You will have lunch at the camp and relax before departing for the afternoon game run. Maasai Mara National Reserve is one of the greatest wildernesses of the world. Large mammals are varied and easy to see. Residents of the park include Maasai giraffes, buffalos, elands, and thousands of the plain game including impalas, zebras, topis, as well as both Thomson’s and grants gazelles. In the evening, you will have dinner and overnight stay at the camp.

Day 2: Maasai Mara National Reserve

After breakfast, you will carry packed lunches and set off to search for great predators and perhaps even cubs continue today during extensive game runs. On the plains, there are enormous herds of grazing animals plus the elusive cheetahs and leopards hiding amidst acacia boughs. In the evening, you will have dinner and overnight stay at the camp.

Day 3: Maasai Mara National Reserve - Nairobi

After having an early morning tea / coffee or hot chocolate, you will then depart for a morning game drive. Here, you will find the old Africa of the movies, with rolling grasslands dotted with acacia trees and sweeping plains teeming with wildlife. No matter how much you have thought about Africa, this is more than you expected and the ideal backdrop for a hot air balloon expedition. After a full English breakfast back at the camp, you will depart for Nairobi by road. Later on, you will be served lunch.
