In this long but rewarding safari tour, you will begin by visiting the country's most impressive national parks and end with some relaxation in the paradisiacal beaches of Zanzibar. You will definitely go home with the best memories of this wonderful adventure.
This will be your home on the first night of your safari. Set in a rural community, the lodge offers breathtaking views of Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest mountain in Africa. A beautiful lodge committed to renewable energies (solar energy) and humanitarian projects for the neediest local communities, it has internet access and a swimming pool. A private toilet and shower room is also available in each room.
Unique Maasai Lodge in the middle of Maasai lands composed of bungalows, built with their own hands in the purest Maasai style under the watchful eye of the roof of Africa, Kilimanjaro. Around a bonfire, you will have the opportunity to learn about their ancestral customs and rituals along with a succulent traditional barbecue. We will know how is the real life in a Maasai boma, but with "touches of luxury".

Africa Safari Glamping, Tented Camp located in Mto wa Mbu, five kilomeers from the hippopotamus pool of Lake Manyara. The safari tent includes a private private bathroom and shower as well as a outdoor pool all year round. A buffet breakfast is served daily at the property. WiFi is provided for free.
This luxury lodge is on the edge of the Ngorongoro Crater. The hotel was originally the home of the first Ngorongoro conservator. The place is run in association with the Maasai community that lives in the area. It is easy to see grazing buffaloes in the hotel gardens.
Found more than 2,000 meters high, you will be at the edge of the crater, which will make the nights cold, so you will be thankful to sleep in a closed hotel on your sixth night, unlike previous nights in tents.
Safari Bike Africa will be waiting for you at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO). Then you will go to Moshi, capital of Kilimanjaro, where you will spend your first night. Before the welcome dinner in Honey Badder Lodge, you will visit the forest of Colobos, where you will be able to observe its peculiar and friendly primates.
Early after breakfast, you will leave in your vehicle to Kilimanjaro National Park. From the entrance gate of Londorossi (2,100 meters), you will begin your bike safari ascending and crossing the rainforest, which you will leave behind as you reach higher altitudes. The landscape is totally different. There can be found alpine steppes and a breathtaking view of the snowy summit of Kilimanjaro.
Once back at the Londorossi gate, you will charge your bikes in your vehicle to go to Amini Maasai Lodge. Before dark, you will arrive at the Maasai Lodge of Ngare Nanyuki, where you will spend the night and be warmly welcomed by Maasai friends, enjoying a succulent and traditional Maasai dinner with them and after enjoy with them around a cozy bonfire.
After breakfast with the tribe you will start Nanyuki to begin our second stage by bike through Maasai lands. Today, the mountain bike stage, will be one of the most special moments of the holidays. A circular route through which we will cross different ecosystems and we will have the opportunity to see a lot of zebras along the way. Also in less quantity, you will see wildebeest, Grant gazelles, jackals, ostriches, and others.
After the cycling safari, the Maasai family will give you an effusive farewell to transfer you in your vehicle to go to the village of Mto Wa Mbu and stay at Africa Safari Glamping.
As always, you will get up early to head out to the great Ngorongoro Volcano. You will travel to Karatu in the safari truck. This village is located between the mountainous hills of the Ngorongoro. Then, you will go down into the most famous crater in the world (UNESCO World Heritage Site) in a descent of more than 400 meters. It impresses the great amount of wild fauna concentrated in the caldera, where the predators have a daily “free buffet” and when you can find the Big Five.
Hopefully, you will have the privilege of seeing the black rhinoceros, which lives in the crater. This is one of the most endangered species in the world.
You will have lunch at a picnic site on the lake, a hippo pool of fresh water that is inside the caldera and which is inhabited by many hippos.
You will sleep in Rhino Lodge, located on the crown of the crater of the volcano of Eden. This is a closed lodge, due to the low temperatures that are during the night, You’ll spend the night at 2,300 meters of altitude.
As usual, you will get up early in the lodge to after a small transfer to the Maasai Nainokanoka Village, inside the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. In Nainokanoka, you will start the bike stage today that we are sure will not leave anyone indifferent.
The uniqueness of the landscapes that runs along the way, from the steppe of the plains, Embulbul basin, to lush tropical forests, together with the gazelles, jackals, birds, zebras and a lot of other animals that you will see that will make it one of the best moments of the trip .
Once you arrive by bike to the ridge of the Crater Emakaai, more striking to observe than the one in Ngorongoro's, for its perfect circular shape and its impressive lake of deep alkaline waters. You will leave the bikes and have lunch and will travel by car to Mto wa Mbu.
In the evening, you will have a wonderful buffet dinner consisting of more than eight different traditional African dishes, prepared by a local family in the middle of a banana plantation. There is also an option to visit a local pub and enjoy a very cool drink and Tanzanian music. You will spend the night in Africa Safari Glamping.
Early after breakfast, you will go on a bike safari to Lake Manyara. It is an easy and short route, crossing towns and plantations, forests of acacias, and creeks, until arriving at the edge of the lake.
You will return to the place where you left your bikes and return to your lodging where you will conclude the adventurous safari days, you will be picked up and taken to Arusha or Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) to take your international connecting flight.

On the fourth day of safari, you will make a stop to one of the Maasai bomas inside Ngorongoro Conservation Area. They will welcome you with their traditional songs and dances, to which you can join and participate. They will take you to their homes and invite you to get inside so that you can see the traditional process by which they are made.
You will be provided full-board meals while on safari. During breakfast and dinner, the cooks of the lodges where you sleep will prepare delicious soups, rice or pasta, barbecue meats, and vegetables. The menu at the provision points during your route on bike will consist of sandwiches, samosas, hard-boiled egg, roast chicken, chocolate, fruit, and juices. Let Safari Bike Africa know in advance of any dietary needs or if you prefer vegetarian food.
In addition to the three daily meals stipulated in the itinerary and included in the price of the trip, you are free to enjoy the local gastronomy that you might find in the towns during the route whenever you want. The water, during the whole trip, will be bottled. Only Safari Bike Africa does this. The rest of agencies that go through this kind of routes use purification tablets to treat non-potable water. This way, the water obtains a chemical taste and many times is not safe.
