Ndutu Safari Lodge consists of 34 stone cottages that extend from the central, open-sided bar, lounge, and dining room. Each room has its own veranda that faces Lake Ndutu. All rooms have en-suite facilities. The cottages are made from local materials and offer comfortable accommodation.
You will arrive at Kilimanjaro and be driven to Ngorongoro. In Ngorongoro, you will spend your first two nights. You will then go to Ndutu to spend the rest of your nights. In the end, you will drive from Ndutu back to Kilimanjaro for onward flight home.
This safari will take you from Ngorongoro Crater to Ndutu in Tanzania. Tanzania safari is very earthy and you can feel the sights and sounds of Africa. Tanzania is a vast country with very well-developed safari destinations. For Ndutu, it is the favorite area for the wildebeest migration from December until end March. They feed on its rich short grass plains and give birth to their young in the hundreds of thousands, usually during the month of February. You will experience excellent sightings of lion and cheetah in Ndutu.
The Ngorongoro Crater is a natural wonder of the world with its dramatic scenery and its abundant game on the crater floor. The mineral rich crater floor is covered by nutritious grasses, which attract herds of zebra, wildebeest, and several antelope species. The predators are dominated by a strong lion population. Cheetahs are seen easily on the plains but leopards are elusive. The crater has the largest population of the endangered black rhino in East Africa.
