Your tip begins with a fully day Natirobi city tour, then a 3-hour drive northwest of Kenya's capital, Nairobi to Lake Nakuru National Park. Lake Nakuru is bird- and animal watchers’ haven. The Park has over 400 bird species. These include, herons, pelicans, storks and the conic African fish eagle. Lake Nakuru is also home to a vast number of mammals (56 species) including a healthy population of the highly endangered rhino. The Park has four of the Big Five (Lion, Leopard, Buffalo and Rhino) except the Elephant. Expect to see tree-climbing Lion, Cheetahs, Python, Hyenas, Jackal, Rothschilds giraffes, zebra, hippo, impala, waterbuck, and plenty of baboons and monkeys.
After a night in Lake Nakuru we get back on the road and make our way to our next game viewing destination in Kenya, the world-famous Masai Mara Game Reserve. We spend 3 nights in the Mara on morning and afternoon game drives in search of Africa’s Big Five and the plethora of other wildlife. The Maasai Mara is home to the Masai giraffe, Baboons, Warthogs, Bat-eared foxes, grey jackals, spotted Hyena, Topi, Impala, Hartebeests, Wildebeest, Elephants, Buffalos, Zebra, Hippo, Cheetah. The ultimate action here is without a doubt the annual wildebeest exodus, the Great Migration. In August and September millions of these grazers move north from the Serengeti in search of lusher grass before turning south again in October.
Balloon trips are an entirely wonderful way seeing the savannah plains teeming with wildlife. These Masai Mara balloon trips can be arranged at extra cost.
After your game-viewing adventure in Masai Mara, we fly to Mombasa and spend the next four days enjoying the sunshine and the warm Indian Ocean at a beach resort near Diani beach, on the coast of East Africa.
Relax on the sandy beaches and dip in the sea, taking it easy after our action-packed game viewing in Kenya's finest wildlife areas. You can also enjoy optional (extra cost) activities and water sports in and around Diani, a chaotic melting pot of Indian, Arabic and African influences.
Today our friendly team will meet you at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and transfer you to your city hotel. Depending on your arrival time, we can plan an afternoon city tour on short notice.

A – Nairobi National Park:
In the early morning after breakfast, you will enjoy a visit to the Nairobi National Park for wildlife and bird watching. This is one of our most interesting wildlife viewing destinations, and only covers an area large enough for a perfect short trip. The park hosts many mammals, including African Lions, Maasai Giraffes, Common Elands, Common Zebras, Nile Hippos, Black Rhinos, White Rhinos and Cape Buffaloes. The park is also a birding haven with many beautiful species. In fact over 500 bird species are recorded in the park. The local Nile Crocodiles are also a very welcome sight. This is Kenya’s oldest National Park, located just 7 kilometres from the edge of Nairobi city center. Nairobi National Park is only 117.21 Km2 in size allowing you to sample it very well on a short safari.
B - DAVID SHELDRICK ELEPHANT ORPHANAGE
Next you will visit the David Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage. At the orphanage you will learn about the orphaned elephants and how they got to the centre. You will also learn elephant Biology and the threats facing the species. The local education team will also teach about how the orphans are cared for until rehabilitation. Further, you will learn how you can adopt a baby elephant, if you are interested in adopting.
From here you will proceed to a local restaurant, where you will enjoy a scrumptious lunch; sampling local dishes and barbecues.
C - GIRAFFE CENTRE
After lunch, you head to the Giraffe Centre. This only takes a short drive. At the center you will meet the lovely Rothschild’s Giraffes. You will learn about the breeding program at the center and also about giraffe Biology. You will also get an opportunity to feed the giraffes from your hand, hug and even kiss these lovely “Tall Blondes”.

After breakfast at your hotel in Nairobi, you depart by road to our destination, Lake Nakuru National Park. We arrive at our lodge camp in time for lunch. After lunch, you head into the bush on an afternoon game-viewing drive in Lake Nakuru Park, in search of its diverse wildlife and numerous birds.
This Kenyan game park has retained its reputation as an ornithologist’s delight, with more than 400 species of bird found here. Bird species include the Great White Pelican, African Spoonbill, Yellow-billed Stork, Lesser and Greater Flamingo, and Long crested Eagle.
Lake Nakuru is also known as an important wildlife sanctuary for some of Africa's endangered species, especially black and white rhinos, and Rothschild Giraffes. The game reserve is also home to lions, waterbuck, buffalo, leopard and baboons, which we keep an eye out for on our game drive.
We have dinner and overnight in En-suite rooms at a comfortable lodge at Lake Nakuru National Park.

Today you start with breakfast at your lodge. Then it’s back on the road, as you make your way to the next game-viewing destination in Kenya, the world-famous Masai Mara National Reserve.You will travel via the scenic Great Rif Valley floor, arriving at the luxury camp in time for lunch. Later, you venture into the Masai Mara Reserve on a thrilling afternoon game drive.

Today is the day set aside for game viewing in Kenya's finest wildlife park, the Masai Mara National Reserve. The morning and afternoon game drives take us in search of Africa's Big Five, and the plethora of other wildlife inhabiting this vast Kenyan game reserve. The Masai Mara is home to an abundance of wildlife such as the Masai giraffe, baboon, warthog, bat-eared for, grey jackal, spotted hyena, topi, impala, hartebeest, wildebeest Elephants, buffalos, zebras and Cheetah.

Special about this adventure is that the balloon will fly over the areas that are limited to safari vehicles. Sometimes, the balloon will fly closer to the earth, giving a closer view of different animals, and other times, the balloon will fly at a higher altitude so the guests can see miles ahead.
