"What a beautiful, perfect place to stay for a visit to Kruger! We couldn't have been more impressed. From the moment we arrived until the minute we drove away, the service was incredibly attentive. We were warmly received by the new owners, by Felicity, by Julia and all the staff. Everyone at the Royal Kruger is very welcoming. Our rooms were lovely and the boma provided a unique, fun experience every night, without even mentioning the food which was consistently delicious. Our game drives and walks with Richard, our guide, were also unparalleled. He's perhaps the most knowledgeable, experienced, and fun guides I've ever been on a game drive with. We didn't realize this before arriving, but the lodge is in Marloth Park, which is a sort of residential mini-game reserve with giraffes, kudu, ostriches, warthogs and the like wandering around, like staying in Kruger but without the need for electric fences. Also, the approach to the main park is quick, bypassing all the self-drive queues. In short, it is absolutely worth it and very highly recommended."

"For anyone looking to visit Kruger National Park, you need to look no further than the Royal Kruger Lodge. From the moment we arrived, Rick picked us up from the airport and he set the experience up with his friendliness. The hospitality and the service provided by Felicity and her staff have been second to none. The accommodation is also first class and it is easy to see why this lodge has won Certificates of Excellence in 2013, 2014, and 2015. Julia, the chef, continues to serve 5-star meals every day. Robert who has taken us on 2 game drives finds all the animals and his knowledge and commentary around the park are credits to both him and the lodge. The lodge has a pool (we haven't tried it yet) and also an outdoor shower. I'd love to think that one day we might come back. And, if we do, we'll be staying here for sure."
