The accommodation for this safari will take place in Rio Napo Lodge. You will be staying in rooms with fan and private bathroom with shower and hot water.

Program

Day 1: Visit to a Kichwa Community - Walk and night navigation

  • 14:00 Check in
  • 15:00 Visit to a Kichwa Community, where you will observe the women, their customs, traditions, and the typical dance.
  • 19:00 Dinner at the Rio Napo Restaurant

Day 2: Canoe sailing

  • 08:30 Breakfast
  • 10:00 Sailing in canoe by motor from the tip of Ahuano, you will go down by the river Napo seeing the natural landscape
  • 11:30 Tubbing or floating buoys with life jackets, by the Arajuno river approximately 45 minutes
  • 12:30 Visit the Amazon Animal Rescue Center, where you will observe animals like: Pécari, Dantas, Tigrillos, columbos, spider monkeys, squirrel monkey, chorongo monkey, birds like: Macaws, parrots, toucans, parrots, turtles, anacondas and much more.
  • 14:00 Lunch at the edge of the river
  • 15:00 Practice of the blowgun
  • 16:00 Visit a natural lagoon to observe the alligators, you can take photographs or filming
  • 17:00 Return to lodge
  • 20:00 Dinner

Day 3: Excursion to a waterfall

  • 08:30 Breakfast
  • 09:30 Excursion to a waterfall, you will walk for approximately one hour. There you can enjoy magnificent Amazonian landscapes, flora and fauna observation, photography, if you like to swim you can do it because this waterfall is ideal as there are sites that act as natural slides. This waterfall has an approximate drop of 13 meters.
  • 13:00 Lunch at the Rio Napo Restaurant

Location

This tour will take place in Misahualli, Napo, Eduador. The port is at an approximate altitude of 517 meters above sea level, with an average temperature of 25 degree Celsius, and is part of the high jungle whose main characteristic is the abundant biodiversity per square meter, one of the largest in the world In quantity of endemic species of flora and fauna. The most important natural attraction is its sandy beach of approximately 700 meters long, which is the place of entry for the jungle excursions.

How to get there

Driving directions from Quito

By private vehicle, from Quito it is possible to arrive in less than 4 hours, by public transport it is possible to travel directly by Cooperativa Amazonas from the terminal of Quitumbe.

Cancellation Policy

  • A reservation requires a deposit of 50% of the total price.
  • The deposit is non-refundable, if the booking is cancelled.
  • The rest of the payment should be paid 15 days before arrival.
