During this safari trip, you will be staying in various accommodations in a shared triple room and tents. On day one, you will be staying in Venice Hotel in Arusha. On day two you will be staying in Twiga Campsite. On day three and four, you will be staying in Seronera Campsite. On day five, you will be staying in Lobo Campsite. On day six, you will be staying in Simba Campsite. On day seven, you will be staying in Green Mountain Hotel in Arusha.

Venice Hotel

Venice Hotel is welcoming all guests in Arusha, with 24 comfortable rooms to stay in. You may secure your valuables in the safe. Even during the hottest summer days the temperature is pleasant thanks to air-conditioners being in operation in all rooms.

If you have a suitable portable device, you can connect to the Internet for free via a wireless network available in the rooms. Rooms are equipped with a balcony with a mountain view. Twiga Campsite

Twiga Lodge and Campsite is located at Mto wa Mbu, one and a half hour drive from Arusha town. Its extensive facilities and beautiful setting has made Twiga a very popular stopover along the route to many Northern Circuit tourist attractions.

The camp has for more than 200 campers, as well as budget-tent facilities with outdoor bathrooms.

  • Swimming pool: The pool next to the tree shaded area doubles as a great chill-out zone for a bit of reading or a splash in the pool during the afternoon. The trees surrounding the pool are habitats of many bird species whose dawn choruses are always a pleasure to wake up to.
  • Conference facilities: Conference facility is located on the far right of the property, carefully designed to complement the gardens and the camping grounds. It accommodates up to 150 people and is equipped with flip charts, overhead projectors, wireless microphones, public address system, supplied on request at modest charges.

Seronera Campsite

The public campsites which are collectively called Seronera Campsite are located in the Central Serengeti area known as the Seronera. Seronera Campsite is one of the most famed campsites in Tanzania for animal encounters. Animals will pass through the campsite at night on their nocturnal wanderings.

This campsite is guarded. Tents have mats and bathrooms are outside of the tent.

Simba Campsite

%Simba Campsite lies on the very rim of Ngorongoro Crater and has an excellent view across the caldera. A fantastic sunrise over the crater rim makes a fine breakfast scene. Often there are elephants wandering around the camp. This campsite is guarded. Tents have mats and bathrooms are outside of the tent.

Facilities at Simba Campsite are basic, but this is more than made up for by the atmosphere of this camp in the clouds. It has basic facilities and can get very crowded, so the hot water sometimes runs out. Even so, it's a fine location and by far the cheapest place to stay up on the rim.

Program

Day 1: Arusha

Rhino Explorer Tours & Safaris will meet at your arrival airport either in Arusha Airport (ARK) Arusha or Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) and transfer to your ready booked triple room at Venice Hotel.

Day 2: Arusha to Manyara

You will be picked up from your hotel in Arusha by your driver guide and depart to Lake Manyara. Arriving at lunch time, you will then go on a game drive in Lake Manyara National Park and enjoy lunch in the village before exploring the stunning landscape of the park, looking for wildlife on the plains in the acacia woodlands and by the shores of the shallow alkaline lake. You will stay overnight at Twiga Campsite. Today’s meal plan includes;breakfast,drinking water, lunch and dinner.

Lake Manyara is rightly famous for its tree-climbing lions, but they are far from the only highlight. By the end of an exhilarating afternoon, you could easily have spotted elephant, hippo, wildebeest, buffalo and giraffe, plus many other species. Pink-hued flamingos, one of 400 bird species recorded here provide a splash of color

Day 3: Manyara to Serengeti

After breakfast, you will depart for Serengeti via Oldupai Gorge. You will then embark on an afternoon game drive in Serengeti National Park and stay overnight at Seronera Campsite. Today’s meal plan includes breakfast,drinking water,lunch and dinner. Please note that Serengeti National Park is the biggest national park in the world for the natural features and beauty of the world with the wildebeest migration, the big five animals, and great features.

Day 4: Full day in Central Serengeti

On this day, you will enjoy a full day game drive in Serengeti National Park. After breakfast early in the morning, you will depart for a game drive along the Sogore River circuit, which loops into the plains south of the Seronera River. This is an adventure view for spotting lion, gazelle, topi, ostrich, and cheetah. There is a tourists’ center, close to public campsites, which is a well worth breathtaking after morning game drive

The center offers some interesting wildlife displays as well as a gift shop where you can purchase information leaflets and maps of the area. The Kopjes circuit going counterclockwise around the Maasai Kopjes is there for your afternoon game drive after lunch. On this tour, you will have the chance to view more lion and some formidably large cobra. You will stay overnight at Seronera Campsite. Today’s meal plan includes breakfast,drinking water, lunch and dinner.

Day 5: Full day in Northern Serengeti

After breakfast, you will leave from Seronera Campsite to far northern Serengeti to witness the wildebeests’ migrations crossing the Mara River and see the Nile crocodiles’ adventures or your driver can opt to take you to western corridor of Grumet River, depending where to find wildebeests migration. You will have dinner and stay overnight at Lobo Campsite, depending on the season. Today’s meal plan includes breakfast, lunch, drinking water and dinner.

Day 6: Northern Serengeti to Ngorongoro via Central Serengeti

You will depart with picnic breakfast for early morning game drive. After lunch, you will make your way to Ngorongoro Crater rim en-route game drive in Serengeti National Park. Early in the morning, exciting sounds of Africa will raise you from your sleep. You will make the most of the day with an 8 a.m., start, heading off on your morning game drive. Later, the adventure will continue when you travel up to Ngorongoro, another African icon.

It is almost impossible to spend too much time in Serengeti and with more than 1.5 million herbivores with thousands of predators, there's always something new and interesting to see. The changing seasons and natural light simply add to the diversity. This morning, your driver-guide will help you spot some more of the many species at Serengeti, teaching you about their fascinating habits and habitats.

After a pleasant picnic lunch, it is time to drive eastwards to visit another spectacular setting for Tanzania's wildlife, the famous Ngorongoro Crater. On arrival, you will settle in at the campsite while a tasty, hot dinner is prepared for you. Tomorrow, the wonders of the crater await you. You will stay overnight at Simba Campsite. Today’s meal plan includes breakfast, lunch, drinking water and dinner.

Day 7: Ngorongoro to Arusha

After breakfast, you will descend to the Ngorongoro Crater floor for a game drive, followed by an afternoon ascend to the crater rim for Arusha. The volcanic caldera (the world's largest) is full of grassland, a forest, and swamp, a setting of jaw-dropping beauty. Secondly, the permanent water of the crater floor supports a resident population of more than 25,000 large mammals.

There, you will find many of the reasons you chose to come on safari: elephant, lion, leopard, hyena, jackal, wallowing hippo, waterbuck, baboons, and even the rare black rhino finds shelter here. Sharing this awesome space with the animals are the Maasai, grazing their cattle in an area which has been a separate conservation area since 1956 and a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1978. This harmonious cohabitation of man and beast makes Ngorongoro unique in Tanzania.

Your driver guide will be pleased to explain this incredible co-existence to you. After your morning game drive, you will have a picnic lunch in the crater and drive with en-route game drive via Maasai Boma where you can be immerse in the Maasai culture. In late afternoon, you will drive to Arusha dinner and stay overnight Green Mountain Hotel in Arusha. Today’s meal plan includes breakfast, lunch, drinking water and dinner.

Day 8: Departure

You will have your breakfast and transfer to the airport. Today’s meal plan includes breakfast.

Lake Manyara National Park

Beautiful land beautiful forest nature best wildlife experience, Lake Manyara National Park is filled with 330 kilometers square feet of water and wildlife buffaloes. There are also baboons, blue monkeys, and antelopes as well as famous lion climbing trees. Different from any other oasis, wild Manyara National Park is lucky to have lion climbing trees unlike in Serengeti. Lions sometimes escape from buffalo and elephant attacks. There are more than 600 birds species recorded in here.

Ngorongoro Crater

Ngorongoro Crater is 260 kilometers square feet and 610 meters deep from the rim to the crater floor. Ngorongoro is the largest crater in the world and the UN heritage site listed in the top natural wonders of the world.

Crater, Oldupai Gorge, Maasai, and wildlife cohabitation included in the 8292 kilometers square feet of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area (NCA). The crater composed of Lake Magadi, Lerai Forest, hippo swamps, savannah, and green grasslands. Serengeti National Park

Serengeti National Park is 14,763 kilometers square feet wide. The center piece of twice border ecosystem that also includes Ngorongoro Conservation Area, Maasai Mara Reserve, and many more small private protected areas. Wildlife Serengeti is the is the commonest large herbivore species 130,0000 wildebeests, Thomson gazelles 250,000, 200,000 of zebra, 70,000 of impala, 50,000 topi, 30,000 grants gazelles, 10,000 of eland, and many envelopes just to mention a few.
