Program

Day 1: Welcome to Uganda

Arrive at Entebbe International Airport (EBB) where you'll be warmly greeted and transferred to your accommodation. Rest for the night at either Karibu Guesthouse or The Boma Entebbe, getting ready for an exciting adventure.

Day 2: Explore Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary

Discover the magnificent Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, a haven for 19 rhinos that were on the brink of extinction. Engage in thrilling rhino trekking, canoe rides, and bird watching, with a chance to spot the elusive shoebill bird. Day 3: Journey to Murchison Falls National Park

Embark on a journey to Murchison Falls National Park after breakfast. Experience the breathtaking beauty of the Nile as it surges through a narrow gap to create the iconic Murchison Falls. Day 4: Murchison Falls Safari Adventure

Set out for an early morning game drive to witness the diverse wildlife of Murchison Falls National Park. Spot antelopes, Rothschild's giraffes, lions, elephants, warthogs, and buffaloes. Day 5: Explore Budongo Forest

Transfer to Budongo Forest for an exhilarating chimp tracking experience and nature walks. Encounter the playful chimps in their natural habitat and learn about their behaviors from expert guides. Day 6: Journey to Kibale Forest

Day 7: Chimpanzee Tracking and Bigodi Swamp Walk

Prepare for an exciting chimpanzee tracking adventure led by experienced forest rangers. Immerse yourself in the forest environment and encounter not only chimpanzees but also other primate species. After lunch, visit Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary for a nature walk, home to a diverse range of bird species and community-based initiatives. Murchison Falls National Park

Murchison Falls National Park, previously known as Kabalega Falls(named after the famous King of Bunyoro Kingdom) is home to one of the powerful falls that provides a scenic beauty for visitors to the park.At the top of the Murchison Falls, the Nile forces its way through a gap in the rocks, only seven meters (23 ft) wide, and tumbles 43 meters (141 feet) forming a rainbow, before flowing westward into Lake Albert.

Things to do (optional)

A visit to Semuliki National Park

Semuliki is an interesting conservation area, partly forested and partly savannah. On this extension trip, you will visit the Sempaya hot springs and have the chance to boil eggs and go for a nature walk through the forest.

Later on, you will visit Amabere’ganyinamwiru caves. This site has an interesting legendary tale. A guide will tell you about Nyinamwiru a daughter of Bukuku, one of the historical rulers of the Cwezi Dynasty that gave birth to the current Bunyoro and Toro Kingdoms. She was an attractive beautiful girl who declined to marry the man her father had chosen for her.
