As only some animals migrate in and out of the crater, with its 2000 feet extreme partitions, you probably can anticipate to see lions, elephants, zebras, hippos, flamingos, jackals, rhinos, antelopes, many birds, and other species.

Your driver will keep up a correspondence with other safari drivers and might amaze you with his expertise at discovering hidden animals. After a good old exploration of the crater, you will drive to Karatu area, spending your night at Flamingo Public Camp.

Day 7: Lake Manyara National Park

You will depart at 7:00 a.m. for Lake Manyara National Park. Although small in size, this park is probably one of the most important parks in Tanzania. Lake Manyara covers two thirds of the park. On its backdrop you can see the Rift Valley, together with the underside water forest, areas of open grassland near the lake shore, and the soda lake itself.

You will enjoy a picnic lunch in this area, which consists of open grassy areas, scorching springs, dense woodlands, and steep mountainsides. Lake Manyara National Park is a birding paradise, with more than 350 species.

The park is also famous for its distinctive and elusive tree-climbing lions. After an extensive exploration of the park, you’ll drive back to Arusha or to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) to catch your flight.
