Twiga Campsite

Twiga Campsite offers camping services as well as providing you with all amenities to make you feel at home. It has an extensive camping ground that can accommodate up to 100 campers where a camper can pitch a tent or park a camper.

The camping site is equipped with excellent camping facilities including flush toilets, sinks and mirrors in the bathrooms, a small convenience store (supermarket), shower facilities (with hot water), camping kitchen, road access to vehicles, and access to a swimming pool and bar.

Seronera Campsite

Seronera Campsite is the chain of small public campsites found at Seronera River Valley in the heart of the central area of Serengeti National Park.

Ngorongoro Simba Campsite A

Ngorongoro Simba Campsite is a public campsite situated on the southwestern rim of the Ngorongoro Crater rim about two kilometers from the crater village.

The campsite has well-maintained toilets and regularly attended as well as hot water showers (heated by wood fires) and firewood for sale. Wild animals frequently visit the campsite which is not fenced, you should move with caution.

Maramboi Tented Camp

Situated in the ecosystem of Lake Manyara and in fields of golden vegetation, Maramboi Tented Camp brings together premium services, exclusive attention, and genuine hospitality in a spectacular scene. The permanent camp has 38 spacious tented rooms, individually built on a raised deck with en-suite bathroom.

There are six family rooms, perfect for guests with children. The bathrooms have a built-in shower and each tent has its own terrace from where guests can enjoy views of Lake Manyara and the Rift Valley.

Manyara Wildlife Safari Camp

Manyara Wildlife Safari Camp is situated in the Rift Valley escarpment, overlooking the Lake Manyara. The camp features an outdoor swimming pool, restaurant, and gift shop.

The accommodation features thatched-roof tents and cottages which will provide you with a private deck offering views of the lake and valley. Each unit comes with a fan, tea-and-coffee-making facilities, and a private bathroom.

Serengeti Kati Kati Tented Camp

Kati Kati is a mid-range mobile camp located in Serengeti's central area sitting in the greater Seronera. The camp operates mostly from December to March and June to October with 10 comfortable safari tents spread out of the central mess area.

The tents are large with insect proof windows, comfortable beds with fresh linens and duvets, and a private veranda. There is a cozy mess tent isolated in the center of the camp where meals are served. The campfire is ready every evening for appetizers and snacks before dinner.

Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge

Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge is located at the highest point on Ngorongoro Crater’s entire rim facing the magnificent sunset to the west.

All rooms are equipped with amenities to ensure maximum comfort during your stay with the lodge. Each room has en-suite facilities to make your stay more comfortable in the bush.

Tarangire Sopa Lodge

Tarangire Sopa Lodge lies hidden among the kopjes, ancient baobab, and grasses of the Tarangire National Park. It is home to the greatest concentration of elephants in Africa. The lodge consists of 75 spacious rooms, all with a private lounge on entering with a minibar.

Each room has two queen-size beds with a mosquito net around them. Four of these rooms are suitable for the physically challenged and four interconnecting rooms are suitable for families.

Lake Manyara Serena Safari Lodge

Lake Manyara Serena Safari Lodge is located in Mto wa Mbu in Tanzania, 130 kilometers from Arusha. The lodge is standing on the edge of a towering terracotta escarpment with panoramic views over the glittering alkaline waters of Lake Manyara. The lodge has spacious rooms housed in a circular, double-stony, and whitewashed.

Serengeti Serena Safari Lodge

Serengeti Serena Safari Lodge is located adjacent to the famous western corridor and Grumeti River nestled on the high saddle of a tree-clad ridge. The lodge has luxurious rooms fully furnished with en-suite facilities all stone built overlooking the plains with a private balcony.

Their suite offers a spacious bedroom luxuriously appointed with a king-sized double bed with walk-in mosquito net, sumptuous furnishings, dressing area, and marble en-suite bathroom. The elegantly appointed sitting room, meanwhile, enjoys panoramic views.

Ngorongoro Serena Safari Lodge

The lodge is standing on the edge of a towering terracotta escarpment with panoramic views over the glittering alkaline waters of a lake. The Ngorongoro Conservation Area lies immediately adjacent to the Serengeti National Park and 180 kilometers from Arusha.

The lodge offers 75 spacious rooms housed in a circular, double-stony, and whitewashed. Each room has its own private veranda while the interior décor reflects the blue of the alkaline waters and the pink of its flamingos.

Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Pick up at 8:30 a.m. from your Arusha hotel and drive to Tarangire National Park for a full day game drive with picnic lunches. Tarangire National Park is Tanzania’s third largest National park is known for its majestic baobab trees that dot the landscape, dwarfing the animals that feed beneath them. Animals concentrate along the Tarangire River, which provides the only permanent water supply in the area. The park is famous for some of the largest herds of elephants in Africa. Here you may see lion, leopard, cheetah, lesser kudu, buffalo, Oryx, eland, giraffe and zebra. Dinner and overnight at Maramboi Tented Camp

Day 2: Tarangire National Park to Lake Manyara National Park

After breakfast, depart go Tarangire National Park to Lake Manyara National Park with picnic lunch boxes for a full day game drive exploring the stunning landscape of the park, looking for wildlife on the plains, in the acacia woodlands and by the shores of the shallow alkaline lake. Lake Manyara National Park is a bird watcher’s paradise where over 400 species of birds recorded here, including flamingo, pelican, sacred ibis, grebe and stork. Manyara is also known for its numerous troops of baboons and blue monkeys buffalo, elephant, giraffe, impala, hippo, large variety of smaller animals, and of course: the very elusive tree-climbing lions. Day 3: Lake Manyara National Park to Serengeti National Park

After breakfast we will depart Lake Manyara National Park with lunch boxes to Serengeti National Park a UNESCO World Heritage Site doubt as the endless open plains which offer the biggest concentration of big cats in the world (cheetahs, lions, leopards, etc) and it’s a home to elephant, buffalo, giraffes, antelope, hippo and crocodiles. Day 4: Serengeti National Park

Today you will wake up with sights, sounds and smells of Africa all around you, and ahead is a full day of adventure in the world’s most famous national park. After breakfast, you will start the day with the morning section of the game drive in Serengeti National Park, marveling at the stunning scenery, ever changing light and always entertaining wildlife. After the picnic lunch, you set off again, searching for wildlife in this awe-inspiring park. Dinner and overnight at Serengeti Kati Kati Tented Camp

Day 5: Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Crater

Rise up from the exciting sounds of Africa and after breakfast you will have a morning game drive in Serengeti National Park. After lunch, you will leave the plains of the Serengeti and travel to the highlands of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where the night will be spent at a camp/lodge directly on the Ngorongoro Crater’s edge with a view over the collapsed volcano. It is a perfect spot to enjoy a sundowner at sunset. Dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Wildlfe Lodge

Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha / Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO)

After breakfast and descend into the crater floor for a half day crater tour. The Ngorongoro Crater is the world’s largest volcanic caldera with a massive floor of about 260 sq kms with a depth of over 2,000 feet, full of grassland, forest and swamp. The permanent water of the crater floor supports a resident population of more than 25,000 large mammals. The Ngorongoro conservation Area supports a vast variety of animals, which include herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, baboons, wallowing hippo, waterbuck, and the African elephants. Another big draw card to this picturesque national park is its dense population of predators, which include lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs and the ever-elusive leopard, even the rare black rhino finds shelter here.

Sharing this awesome space with the animals are the Maasai, grazing their cattle in an area which has been a separate conservation area since 1956 and a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1978. This harmonious co-habitation of man and beast makes Ngorongoro unique in Tanzania and your driver guide will be pleased to explain this incredible co-existence to you.

After your early morning game drive, we have our picnic lunch at the beautiful Hippo pool and begin a steep ascend to the top exit of the crater and return back to the airport for your departure flight back home.

Location

Tarangire National Park

Tarangire National Park is one of the best tour destinations in the Northern Circuit Parks in Tanzania which is famous for its elephant migration and birding safari.

It has a huge concentration of animals in the peak months and a fraction of the visitor numbers of any of the other northern parks.

From July to October, which are the best months to visit, the concentration of animals around the Tarangire River is almost as diverse and reliable as in the Ngorongoro Crater.

Lake Manyara National Park

Lake Manyara National Park extends over 330 square kilometers of the northern Rift Valley floor in the southwest of Arusha. Its centerpiece is Lake Manyara which is a fluctuating body of alkaline water set within a shallow sump at the base of the Rift Valley.

Serengeti National Park

Serengeti National Park is the oldest and most popular national park. This park is also a world heritage site and recently proclaimed a seventh worldwide wonder. Furthermore, Serengeti National Park is famous for its annual migration when some six million hooves pound the open plains as more than 200,000 zebras and 300,000 Thomson’s gazelles join the wildebeests’ trek for fresh grazing.

Ngorongoro Crater

Ngorongoro Crater has a deep, volcanic crater as well as leading unflooded and unbroken caldera in the world. The crater lies from 20 kilometers across, 600 meters deep, and 300 square kilometers in area. This place also has the wonderful natural wondrous attractions.

Food

Your meal will consist of five breakfasts, six lunches, and five dinners. There is usually no problem for safari-goers who want, for example, vegetarian or gluten-free food.

Many lodges, hotels, and camps serve meals in form of buffets, where you may choose yourself what to eat. The staff is available to help you identify the ingredients that have been used.

Where meals are served à la carte, vegetarian options are available, and the staff is usually very responsive to any other requests regarding your dishes.

The international airlines offer special food on request, but you should ask for it when booking your flight. You order beverages for meals etc yourself and can always decide what to drink.
