Located in the heart of East Africa, Kenya is a land of breathtaking diversity, offering a kaleidoscope of landscapes, wildlife, and cultural experiences that beckon explorers from around the globe. Pita Safaris invites intrepid travelers to discover the beauty of Kenya, inspire a deeper connection with the planet, and connect with the soul of Africa.
Perched on the equator and bathed by the warm waters of the Indian Ocean, Kenya is Africa's cherished jewel. It's a country where geographical wonders create a backdrop for an extraordinary variety of wildlife and human cultures.
From the coral reefs and white-sand beaches of the coast to the Great Rift Valley that cleaves the earth's crust to create a landscape of lakes and volcanoes, Kenya's geography is as complex as it is captivating.
The best time to visit Kenya largely depends on the specific experiences you seek. The dry season, from June to October, offers superb wildlife viewing opportunities as animals gather around water sources, while the months of July to September witness the Great Wildebeest Migration in the Maasai Mara.
The short rains from November to December provide a greener landscape and fewer crowds, making it an ideal time for birdwatching and photography. The long rains occurring from March to May bring lush greenery and are considered the low season with fewer visitors, offering the possibility of discounted rates.
Renowned for the Great Wildebeest Migration, the Maasai Mara is a wildlife haven where visitors can witness thrilling predator-prey interactions and witness the iconic Big Five.
Nestled around a picturesque lake, this park is a birdwatcher's paradise, with thousands of flamingos and various bird species calling it home.
All meals as specified in the itinerary (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) are included. Pita Safaris will provide vegetarian and lactose-free food, as well as cater to other diets.
