Phumula Kruger Lodge

Phumula means rest. Aptly named, Phumula Kruger Lodge and Safaris, is synonymous with relaxing and finding respite from the chaos of the world. Nestled in the lush African bush of Marloth Park, adjacent to the iconic Kruger National Park, three-star Phumula Kruger Lodge and Safari’s offers you an unforgettable bush experience.

There is something exceptional about the bush that steals a piece of your heart, and for most of the guests, one visit is never enough. During your stay at the lodge, you could fall asleep to the sound of lions roaring, or a mournful Hyena lullaby, while the haunting cry of the Fish Eagle invites guests to rise in time to behold the magnificent African sunrise. For many people, the bush is a place of restoration, and facilities are conducive to helping you find a quiet spot to embrace nature and relax.

The lodge's recently upgraded outdoor swimming pool offers a welcome respite from the heat of the day and is set in a peaceful garden where guests can relax with a book or just take time out. Their barbecue area and thatched terrace allow guests space to enjoy good food and company as they spend quality time with family and friends.

Marloth Park offers guests the unique privilege of seeing wild animals roam freely in their natural habitat, and regular animal visitors to Phumula Kruger Lodge include zebras, warthogs, kudus, impalas, monkeys and even giraffe, to name but a few. Bird lovers will also be delighted by the gorgeous feathered inhabitants of the lodge.

The chalet consists of three bedrooms (two double beds, one single bed and the other single bed in lounge), three bathrooms, equipped kitchen-fridge, microwave 2 plate/oven combo, lounge, and braai area. There's an outside shower on deck! All buildings air-conditioned. All towels and linen are included, except swimming pool towel.
