Day 1: Arrival
You will be picked up from your Nairobi hotel or airport by the driver. Immediately depart for Samburu passing through the equator line to Samburu land. Arrive with a short game drive en route to the lodge / camp for lunch. After lunch, relax before a game drive at 4 p.m. Samburu Park has unique residents including the Reticulated Giraffe, Grevy’s Zebra, Beisa Oryx, and the Blue legged Somali Ostrich.

Day 2: Samburu National Reserve
Enjoy a morning game drive in search of unique northern Kenya species such as the reticulated giraffe, beisa oryx, Grevy’s zebra, and the long-necked gerenuk. Much of the reserve consists of desert landscape; dusty red plains broken by thorny scrub, featuring dramatic views of tabletop Mt Ol Olokwe on the horizon. Later in the afternoon, experience the Samburu culture by visiting their Manyattas.

Day 3: Samburu to Ol Pejeta Conservancy
Depart Samburu after breakfast arriving in time for lunch at Ol Pejeta Conservancy. This is a beautiful private game reserve and home to rare species such as Beisa oryx, Rothschild’s giraffe, Chimpanzee, and black rhino. Game drives here reveal the full range of African wildlife including lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, and hippos. Enjoy a private visit with the tamed animals at the wildlife orphanage. Observe chimps at the Chimpanzee Sanctuary as well.

Day 4: Ol Pejeta to Lake Nakuru
Have breakfast then depart for Lake Nakuru arriving before lunchtime. Later in the afternoon, relax and enjoy a view and the lake just from your room.
Lake Nakuru National Park is a beautiful haven. On the floor of the Great Rift Valley, surrounded by wooded and bushy grassland, lies the beautiful Lake Nakuru National Park. Visitors can enjoy the wide ecological diversity and varied habitats that range from Lake Nakuru itself to the surrounding escarpment and picturesque ridges. Lake Nakuru National Park is ideal for bird-watching, hiking, picnics, and game drives.
Day 5: Lake Naivasha to Maasai Mara
Today’s drive takes you through The Great Rift Valley, the longest rift in the crust of the earth, to the Masai Mara. You will spend two nights in this natural paradise among lions, zebras, wildebeests, giraffes, buffalos, elephants, antelopes, and gazelles. There is a good chance of spotting cheetahs and if you are lucky, the shy leopard.
You will arrive at your camp in time for a late lunch. After lunch, enjoy a short rest before departing on your afternoon game drive, returning to the lodge in time for dinner. You spend the next couple of days enjoying private game drives with your own driver-guide in the Masai Mara looking for the Big Five and other wildlife.
Day 6: Maasai Mara National Reserve
After breakfast, go on a full-day game drive and enjoy your picnic lunch at the Mara River. You have the opportunity to see the spectacular migration of wildebeest during the peak season from July to October. The other animals include lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, etc, and you also have the chance to see the Big Five. The Maasai Mara is the best park in Kenya to view animals and it is one of the Seven Wonders of the World.
Day 7: Maasai Mara to Nairobi
After breakfast, depart Maasai Mara Game Reserve with a game viewing en route to the main Narok road. At Narok, you will have a chance for last-minute shopping, or lunch (at your own cost). Continue to Nairobi where the driver shall drop you at your hotel, your residence, or the airport.
