Day 1: Nairobi to Maasai Mara National Reserve

At 8 o’clock you will be picked up from your Nairobi Hotel to join a group and commence the driver to Maasai Mara via the great rift valley point where you will have a breaking view of the floor of the rift valley. Arrive in time for lunch.

Check-in and have lunch. At 4 p.m. you will start off with a game drive at Maasai Mara Reserve, which ends at 6 p.m. Return to the camp for a sumptuous buffet dinner ending with a good time for resting at the camp.

Dinner and overnight at Miti Mingi Eco Camp / similar accommodation.

Day 2: Full-day game drive in Maasai Mara National Reserve

Spend the full day exploring Maasai Mara in search of the Big Five and also get a chance to look for the big cats which are extremely elusive. As you do the drive you will visit the Mara river where you get a chance to see the hippos and the Nile crocodiles.

Thereafter you will have a picnic lunch at the park under a Croton tree overlooking the vast landscape of the park and animals grazing. later you will continue with a game drive en route out of the park.

It is in the Mara that perhaps the most spectacular event of the natural world takes place: the great migration. This is the annual migration of millions of wildebeest and zebra from the Serengeti (in Tanzania) in search of water and pasture. Following on their heels are the predators of the savanna – lions, cheetahs, jackals, hyenas, and vultures.

Dinner and overnight at Miti Mingi Eco Camp / similar accommodation.

Day 3: Depart Maasai Mara to Nakuru

You will have an early breakfast then enjoy the last early morning game drive in Mara Reserve. Thereafter, commence the drive to Nakuru. Upon arrival have lunch. Then proceed to the park. It's a small park with magnificent, rare white rhinos which is part of the big five. There is a possibility to see the pink flamingoes. The game lasts 3 hours.

Dinner and overnight at Lanet Matfam Resort.

PART TWO: Private safari to Aberdare National Park

Day 4: Lake Nakuru to Aberdares National Park

You will have an early breakfast, then you will be picked up by your driver for a private safari to Aberdare National park arriving in time for lunch at Aberdares Country Club. After lunch, you are transferred to the park by the lodge vehicle.

The park provides a habitat for elephants, black rhinos, leopards sported hyenas, olive baboons, black and white colobus monkeys, buffalos, and many more. Rare sightings include those of Giant Forest Hogs, bongos, and many types of big cats. You can indulge in picnics, trout fishing in the river, and camping in the moorlands. You can also enjoy bird viewing with over 250 species of birds in the park.

Dinner and overnight at the Ark Lodge.
