First night in a Lodge in Lake Manyara National Park.
Octagon Lodge is a small and private lodge located twenty minutes from the Ngorongoro Conservation Area Gate in Karatu, Tanzania. Ideal for visitors on a trip, it is situated amidst colorful and exotic gardens and provides a perfect base for visiting the Northern Parks of Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro Crater, and Serengeti.
Situated on six acres of land, the beautiful gardens are teeming with various plants and bird life. Enjoy your breakfast or lunch in the garden and take a stroll to see and hear the birds sing.

Karatu Country Lodge
Second night in tented camp at Ngorongoro.
Located on the outskirts of Karatu, a quaint country town on the Great Escarpment, midway between Lake Manyara and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, Country Lodge is situated in the center of Northern Tanzania’s green belt district and farming community. Country Lodge Karatu symbolizes simple country comforts, providing pleasant and affordable lodging in the heart of Tanzania’s rich and scenic highlands.
They are the ideal ‘Stepping Stone’ for safaris into Ngorongoro Crater and beyond, as well as other travelers visiting the area. Third night at a camp in Tarangire National Park.

Program
Day 1: Arusha to Lake Manyara
Pick up from Arusha to Lake Manyara National Park and you get a chance to see flamingos; over 100 species of bird come here to breed so for bird lovers it is normally an exciting time. Later, you will have a picnic lunch with an overnight stay at one of the lodges. Dinner and overnight at a lodge in the park.
Day 2: Lake Manyara to Ngorongoro
Early morning breakfast then drive through along Lake Manyara and start a full day game drive at the Ngorongoro crater with a picnic lunch at the crater floor and later in the afternoon drive back to Arusha with a drop off at the hotel.
Day 3: Ngorongoro to Tarangire
Breakfast and start the full day game drive to Tarangire National Park where you get to see some of the famous tree climbing lions and also olive baboons, later a picnic lunch with an overnight stay at one of the safari lodges.
Day 4: Tarangire to Arusha
Breakfast, then leave for a game drive until 1 p.m. when you start the drive back to Arusha.
