Simba Oryx Nature Camp
Simba Oryx Nature Camp is set just at the border to the famous Masai Mara Game Reserve. This sustainable camp offers 10 luxury tents and a restaurant. The tents have enough distance to each other that you get the impression of being alone in the terrific wilderness of Mara. Through the glass front of the tents, you can recognize the wild animals even from your bed. Each tent has its own solar panels for electricity and hot water. Simba Oryx Nature Camp is situated just few minutes from Ololaimutia Gate with great view to Serengeti and Masai Mara.

Mara Chui Camp
Mara Chui Resort is carefully engineered to blend with the Mara safari spirit. Overlooking the Inguetat Hills and tacked under ancient trees, are just 35 units accommodating a minimum of 70 guests. The units were literally planted within the wood land and not a single tree was felled.

Situated in Nakuru, 19 kilometers from Lake Elementaita, Buraha Zenoni Hotel and Resort features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge, and a terrace. AA Lodge Amboseli
AA Amboseli Lodge is built in a three-tier architectural design and is strategically located two kilometers from Amboseli National Park's main gate (Kimana Gate) and conveniently within the Emali-Loitoktok tarmac road. It is 240 kilometers from Nairobi, 16 kilometers from Amboseli airstrip, 20 kilometers from the Emali, and 20 kilometers from the Emali-Loitoktok tarmac road.
It commands a panoramic view of the snow-capped Mt. Kilimanjaro, the world’s Standing Mountain. With 60 rooms, the lodge is intimate and friendly with many personal touches. The lodge also has drones for guests willing to use them for game drives for photography and videography.

Daily itinerary
Day 1: Nairobi - Maasai Mara
Between 7:00 and 7:30 a.m., you will be picked up from your hotel within the Nairobi city center or Westland’s and commence the drive to Maasai Mara via the Great Rift Valley view point where you will have a breathtaking view of the floor of the Rift Valley. Here, you will see the semi-active Mount Longonot and two other dormant volcanic mountains, Mount Suswa and Mount Margret, for 10 minutes.
You will arrive in time for lunch. Check in the hotel. Later at 4:00 p.m., depart for a two-hour sunset game viewing drive in the Mara Reserve until 6:00 p.m. Return to the camp for a sumptuous buffet dinner ending with good time for resting at the camp. Dinner and overnight in Jambo Mara Safari Lodge, Simba Oryx Nature Camp, Enkorok Mara Camp, or Mara Chui Resort Camp.
Day 2: Full-day game drive in Masai Mara Reserve
Early breakfast at 6:30 a.m. and depart for a full-day game viewing. This is the most important day since you are hoping to see the big five, especially the big cats which are extremely elusive. Also, you will visit the famous Mara River where the great migration happens, have a guided tour by the rangers to see the Nile crocodiles and hippo families, and just to top it off, have a picnic lunch under a tree in the park overlooking the vast landscapes.
It is in the Mara that perhaps the most spectacular event of the natural world takes place: the great migration. This is the annual migration of millions of wildebeest and zebra from the Serengeti (in Tanzania) in search of water and pasture. Following on their heels are the predators of the savanna: lions, cheetahs, jackals, hyenas, and vultures. Dinner and overnight in Jambo Mara Safari Lodge, Simba Oryx Nature Camp, Enkorok Mara Camp, or Mara Chui Resort Camp.
Day 3: Maasai Mara - Lake Nakuru National Park (via Lake Naivasha for boat ride)
You will have breakfast at the camp or lodge and thereafter, drive to Nakuru via Lake Naivasha for a one-hour boat ride with lunch. On this day, you have an optional visit to Masai Village in Maasai Mara in the morning before leaving. The village visit costs 20 USD per person (paid in cash at the village). Arrive at Nakuru in the late evening. Dinner and overnight at Buraha Hotel or similar.
Day 4: Nakuru - Amboseli National Park
You will have an early breakfast, check out, and depart by 7:00 a..m to straight to Lake Nakuru National Park for a game drive. It is a small park with magnificent, rare white rhinos which form part of the Big Five animals. The game drive lasts for a minimum of four hours. There is also a possibility to see the pink flamingoes.
In this park, you will also spot the rare endangered Rothschild giraffe. Thereafter, drive to Amboseli National Park with lunch on the way at Naivasha Kifaru Travellers Motel. Arrive at Amboseli in the evening. You will not go on a game drive because of late arrival in Amboseli. Dinner and overnight at Sentrim Amboseli Lodge, AA Lodge, or similar.
Day 5: Full day in Amboseli
Early morning breakfast. After breakfast, you will spend the full day in the park with a packed lunch in search of its popular residents like the well-known predators and their opponents like the zebras, wildebeests, giraffes, and hippos with a view of Mount Kilimanjaro. Dinner and overnight at Sentrim Amboseli Lodge or AA Lodge.
Day 6: Amboseli - Nairobi
You will have a last day early morning game drive, higher chances of seeing the predators. Back to the hotel, have morning breakfast, check out, and then start your drive back to Nairobi and you will be dropped off at the hotel or airport. End of safari.
About the safari
The safari is ideal for travelers seeking to save costs. You will use upgraded and shared transport in a 4x4 Land Cruiser. The safari Land Cruiser is the best for safari as it can go off-road offering a luxurious experience for travelers. The vehicle carries a maximum of eight people. Here, you join a group of seven people in a jeep and they use a small customized safari jeep as opposed to a big bus because the small car can go off-road and near rivers for a closer look at the wildlife. Tents in Maasai Mara are big and they have a bed, hot shower, and toilet inside. They also have lights in the rooms and electricity in the dining area to charge phones and cameras.

Maasai Mara National Reserve
This is the most popular tourism destination in Kenya. Located in the Great Rift Valley is primarily open grassland. Wildlife is most concentrated on the reserve’s western escarpment. It is regarded as the jewel of Kenya’s wildlife viewing areas. The annual wildebeest migration alone involves over 1,500,000 animals arriving in July and departing in November. Hardly can a visitor miss to spot the big five. The phenomenal wildebeest migration which is a spectacular event only seen in Maasai Mara is the the wonder of the world.
Lake Nakuru National Park
Lake Nakuru National Park is one of Kenya’s 23 national parks and one of two in the premium category, along with Amboseli National Park. It can be found in Central Kenya, about 90 miles (140 kilometers) northwest of Nairobi, in the Nakuru district of the Rift Valley Province. The ecosystem is comprised of the lake, surrounded by wooded and bushy grasslands. The park supports a wide ecological diversity including flamingos (Greater and Lesser), other water birds, and the black and white rhinoceros which are the major attractions of the area.
Amboseli National Park
Crowned by Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest peak, the Amboseli National Park is one of Kenya’s most popular parks. The name “Amboseli” comes from a Maasai word meaning “salty dust”, and it is one of the best places in Africa to view large herds of elephants up close. Nature lovers can explore five different habitats here ranging from the dried-up bed of Lake Amboseli, wetlands with Sulphur springs, the savannah, and woodlands. They can also visit the local Maasai community who live around the park and experience their authentic culture.
