For this safari trip, you will be provided with two nights accommodation in Hotel Parkland in Chitwan or other accommodations of similar quality. You will surely be staying in good comfortable lodges with attached bathroom and insect nets or comfortable permanent tented camps. Be assured that your accommodation is safe and clean.


Day 1: Kathmandu / Pokhara - Chitwan National Park

After breakfast, Peregrine Treks and Expedition will pick you up from your hotel in Kathmandu or Pokhara and they will drive you to Chitwan National Park. From Kathmandu, it will take approximately five hours drive while from Pokhara it is approximately four hours.

Upon arrival at the resort, lunch will be served. Later in the afternoon, an experienced guide will accompany you for ethnic Tharus Village visit. The surrounding farmland and villages have a pulse of its own, giving it a sense of timelessness.

Afterwards, you will be taken to the elephant stable for a short briefing on the elephants by the naturalists. As well as visit the sunset viewpoint and the visitor center for more insight of the Chitwan wildlife, flora, and fauna. Afterward, you will be transferred to the resort. Your dinner will be served at the restaurant.

Day 2: Chitwan National Park

There will be a morning wake up call. After breakfast, you will have a ride on a traditional dug-out canoe and a silent canoeing in Rapti River, you will get an opportunity to view aquatic birds and see animals on the river banks.

Then you will begin your jungle nature walk accompanied by a trained naturalist to trace animal movements. You are advised to closely follow the instructions of the naturalist at all times. Afterwards, you will visit the Elephant Breeding Center.

Lunch will be served to you this day and you can have a short rest. Later in the afternoon, there will be a jeep safari in the community forest of Chitwan National Park for more animal sightings. Dinner will be served at the restaurant. You will stay overnight at Hotel Parkland.

Day 3: Chitwan National Park

There will be a morning wake up call. Then the naturalist will take you for a bird watching tour over the banks of the river in the Chitwan National Park then you will return back to your hotel where you will have your breakfast and then depart Chitwan for your onward destination.


This safari trip will take place at Chitwan National Park in Nepal. It is one of the finest wildlife reserves in Asia, located in the plains of Nepal "Terai". The park with a total area of 932 kilometers is listed as UNESCO World Heritage Site.

It is the home to many animals, birds, and plant species that includes one-horned rhino, different kinds of deer, sloth bears, leopards, tigers, crocodiles, monkeys, as well as many different species of butterflies, insects, and over 450 sorts of colorful and endangered birds, and an incredible variety of other fauna and flora.

A visit to Chitwan is must for any wildlife affectionate and even for the leisurely travelers who wish to relax in the tranquility of sub-tropical jungle and observe wildlife or the local culture, tradition, and way of life in Terai.

This package cost only the included bus services from and to Kathmandu and Pokhara. If you want to travel by private car, you would need to buy additional private car service.

Cancellation Policy

  • A reservation requires a deposit of 21% of the total price.
  • The deposit is non-refundable, if the booking is cancelled.
  • The rest of the payment should be paid on arrival.
