Itinerary
Day 1: Nairobi - Masai Mara National Game Reserve
Penfam Tours and Travel will pick you from your Nairobi hotel at 7:00 am or at JKI Airport upon arrival early morning. And starting with the Kenya Safari Big 5, Masai Mara Safari briefing.
Begin your adventure by departing Nairobi and journeying south along the floor of the Great Rift Valley. Passing through Narok, you'll ascend the western wall, entering the iconic Hemingway's country, the Serengeti Plains. Arrive in time for a delightful lunch and check in at the Sarova Mara Game Camp.
During the afternoon, go on a game drive in search for the Big 5, namely elephant, lion, leopard, black rhino, and buffalo. This is both fulfilling and an exciting adventure as you also admire the scenic sites. Similarly, other rich game include cheetah, wildebeest, zebra, among many are also easily in sight.
Later, drive back to the Sarova Mara Game Camp for dinner and overnight accommodation too.

Day 2: Masai Mara game drive
Spend a full day exploring the renowned Masai Mara Reserve in search of wild game, with the option to enhance your experience with a memorable balloon safari. Depart after breakfast, equipped with a picnic lunch to fuel your adventures.
The Mara embodies the essence of African wilderness: Lions roam abundantly, joined by majestic elephants, graceful giraffes, and various gazelle species and zebra. Spotting cheetahs, leopards, and occasionally rhinos adds excitement to your safari. The zebra, impala, topi, giraffe, Thomson’s gazelle are regularly and easily seen.
Witness the awe-inspiring wildebeest migration, a natural spectacle occurring from July to September, filling the Mara with an abundance of wildlife and their predators. Other rich Masai Mara wild animals include hyenas, cheetah, jackal and bat-eared foxes.
Marvel at the diverse birdlife, including colorful Bee-Eaters, soaring across the reserve's skies. Amidst this wildlife wonderland, encounter the vibrant Maasai tribe, with warriors traversing the plains, young boys herding goats, and elders engaging in discussions under the shade of trees.
An extended drive to the Mara River where schools of hippos and Nile crocodile where they are abundant in river is possible time allowing. In the meantime, they lay in wait for a meal as the wildebeest cross on their annual quest to find new pastures.
Conclude your day with a satisfying dinner and overnight stay at the camp / lodge.

Day 3: Mara - Nairobi
Early morning Masai Mara safari game drive, followed by late breakfast at Sarova Mara camp. Afterwards, check out and depart for Nairobi - a 5-hour drive to Nairobi with en route lunch. Drop off at your hotel or at the airport for your flight out to your next destination.
