Welcome to Palau Amazonas Hotel in the city of Iquitos. Iquitos is one of the most exciting and exotic cities in South America. The accommodation will be at Palau Amazonas Hotel. Day 1: Arrival

You will be picked up at the airport at the indicated time and transferred to the hotel. Depending on arrival time, breakfast will be available until 10:00 a.m. You can taste an exotic drink with fruits of the region at the hotel and spend the rest of the day at your leisure.

Day 2: Amazon boat tour and botanical walk

Breakfast will be from 7:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. After that, you will be picked up for a full day tour. The passengers will be picked up between 9:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. and will be transferred to the wharf where they will board a boat to navigate the Amazon and / or tributary rivers.

You will visit an animal rescue center where you can take pictures of some of the species that inhabit the Amazon. During this trip, if weather conditions allow it, you can see the pink or gray dolphins. You will continue your journey, navigating the great Amazon River to visit an indigenous community where you can interact with them and know their way of life and crafts.

In the afternoon, passengers will be transferred to an eco-lodge to enjoy a typical lunch. After lunch, there will be botanical walks during which you can see the different plants and trees that grow in the jungle (some of them medicinal), as well as insects and birds. Return to the city approximately between 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. Passengers will then be transferred to the hotel where they will spend the evening at their leisure.

Day 3: City tour

Breakfast will be from 7:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. Between 9:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. passengers will be picked up for a city tour. You will take a tour of the main streets of the historic center of the city and the boulevard on the banks of the Itaya River, where you will see the Plaza de Armas, the Matriz Church, La Casa de Fierro (built by Gustave Eiffel), and buildings with Portuguese tiles from the time of the rubber.

Visit the historic ship Ayapua and tour its facilities. This historic ship was one of the first ships to reach the city sailing from the Pacific Ocean to the Amazon River and during the tour you will be able to see artifacts and paintings of the time.

Passengers will be transferred to the South of the city to visit Manaties Rescue Center (CREA) where they will see the efforts made to conserve manatees rescued from poachers and then returned to their natural habitat. The entrances of this rescue center serve to conserve it.

Later, passengers will be transferred to visit Lake Quistococha in the park with the same name and a walk will be taken to the lake and its surroundings. Return to the hotel and, from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., have a typical dinner.

Day 4: Departure

Breakfast will be from 7:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. Then, passengers will be transferred to the airport at the indicated time.
