This wildlife tour will take place in Toba Inlet, British Columbia, Canada. Toba Inlet is a deep fjord on the west coast of British Columbia. The inlet has spectacular waterfalls, glacier-fed rivers, and the magnificent coastal mountains that rise as an imposing backdrop. Grizzly bears have free reign in these isolated and lush river estuaries as well as can be found foraging along the river and rugged shoreline from late summer feasting on salmon.

Six kilometers up a remote road lies the Klite River, a beautiful turquoise tributary river to the main Toba River. The Klite River is filled with salmon each fall and the grizzly bears come down from the mountains to enjoy their fill.

Homfray Channel was named after Robert Homfray, civil engineer. The best account of his exploits is contained in the book, "The Chilcotin War: A Tale of Death and Reprisal". The tale is compelling, full of the perils and dangers of an attempt to find a better way to the Chilcotin Goldfields via Bute Inlet.
