You will stay for 1 night in Maun at a lodge based on a twin sharing basis, 2 nights' camping wild at Makgadikgadi Pan, and 2 nights at Moremi Game Reserve in a private designated campsite with ensuite bush ablutions on every tent.
You will arrive at Maun Airport (MUB) and will be met by your guide. After that, you will be transferred to the lodge.
You will camp wild on the flat Makgadikgadi Pan. After watching the awe-inspiring sunset over the pan, the evening will be spent enjoying the wide open vista and enormous of stars.
From Makgadikgadi Pan, you will go to Moremi Game Reserve. This next two days will be spent searching for the wide variety of wildlife and birds that are renowned for while absorbing the sounds and beauty of this region. A mokoro excursion will take you along a channel of Kwai River to view a game for another perspective and to experience this tranquil mode of transport. You will also have game drives in the early morning as the sun rises and in the late afternoon as the sun sets.
Today will be the last day of your adventure. You will break the camp and head to Maun where you will end the tour at 12:00.
You will have 1 mokoro excursion held on the Kwai River.
This safari will take place in Makgadikgadi Pan and Moremi Game Reserve, one of the best wilderness areas in Botswana which covers swamp and dry areas.
You will be served with 4 breakfasts, 4 lunches, and 4 dinners. On the first day in Maun, meals will be on your own expenses.
Botswana’s national and only airline provides international flights to Johannesburg and Harare. It provides domestic flights to Francistown, Maun, and Kasane. Air Namibia flies to Maun every day of the week except Tuesdays and Thursdays. Most major international airlines from Asia, USA and Europe fly into Johannesburg, South Africa.
There are scheduled buses services across borders between South Africa, Zimbabwe, Namibia, and Zambia.
